So this is definitely Haram, no difference of opinion among Ahlul Ilm? What about the claims that it was practiced by Aulia Allah, is there any truth behind this claim?

The tone of your question suggests that every INNOVATION is EVIL (or HARAAM), please clarify?

This is not something new, the book Shams al Ma'arif has similar intentions and wazifas It is important to remember context and purity of intention of both the scribe and reciter. From what I have read such wazifas were done in times of war against the kuffar, and other times against magicians dwelling in sorcery.

This page have also got wazifa to kill your enemies:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::confused:....

If you have a enemy and you have tried everything and nothing is happening and you are in a situation that your own life is in danger or your families life. You can do this wazifa. You must be very sure that you have no other solution.

For 10 days with the intention that you want your enemy to die , at the same place and same time

read Surah Lahab 1000 times everyday.

Do not Read Bismillah or Darood/Salavat with this wazifa.

Your enemy will be killed by Allah in 10 days

I have read in Qasr-e-A'rifaan, a Persian book on tasawwuf by Shaykh Ahmad Ali Chishti Hyderabadi (translated in Urdu), that certain awliyas have performed this action. One specific case was mentioned of an awliya who wanted to decide where his next destination should be.

It is bidah for certain, but whether it is permitted or not, I can't say.

Also GF Haddad replies to the question "Is it permissible to take faal from Quran?" by saying:

"Yes, because the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said Allah Most High loves tafa’ul and detests tasha’um; however, certain `ulema limited allistikhara to the istikhara prayer."

And to another question "What is the proper way to take Fal from Qur’an? Do our Mashaykh use this practice? If they do, how is their method?":

"Let a pious knowledgeable person open the mus-haf and read the first verse of the top of the page or on which the eyes first fall. If unclear read the 7th verse after that. If still unclear, close mus-haf and repeat."

What do the Ulama say about this?

    This site claims:

"You can take a fal from Quran as it is a recommended and preferred method by all Aulia Allah."

    And even provides a method:

Firstly take a Quran which has been translated by a Sunni Alim (scholar). Not everybody can translate Quran. Translation of Maulana Maududi (tafheem ul Quran in sub continent) is strictly illegal. He had no qualifications to translate it and he is a Wahabi.

The most authentic translation is from Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi (Rehmatullah alaih). But this is in urdu. So please make sure that the Quran you will use, in your language has been translated by a Sunni "QUALIFIED" Alim (scholar). Not by a pseudo Alim (scholar) who had no qualifications to translate it.

Do a wudu and take the Quran in your hands. Sit on a prayer mat.

If the time is in between morning till 10am then use Quran chap 1 till chap 10 . If the time is between 1000 hrs (10 AM) till 1400 hours (2 PM) please open Quran chap 11 till chap 20. If you will do it between 1400 hrs (2 PM) till sunset, you will use chap 21 till 30. If the time is night then use the whole Quran. These are the times when the fal should be taken.

    Then read the following

    Darood/Salavat 11 times

    Surah fatiha 1 time

    Ayettal Kursi 1 time

    Surah Ikhlas 3 times

    Darood/Salavat 11 times

then do a dua like this:

Ya Allah what I have read please accept it due to your fadal and rehmat, and what ever savab/hasana you will give me please send it to Prophet's (Sallal laho alaihe wa aale hi wa saalam) soul and the souls of all Prophets and Sahaba kiram and Ahli bait and all Aulia Allah and all Muslim men and women and children dead or alive. Especially send the savab/hasana to the soul of the Prophet (Sallal laho alaihe wa aale hi wa saalam) and Sayyedina Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani and Sayyedina Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi (Rehmatullahe Ajmaeen) and because of their barakat please make me successful in this fal.

Then while reading Darood/Salavat open the Quran from some where. The page you will see, count 7 pages from there. 7 pages forward not backwards. Your answer is on the seventh page on the 7th 8th and 9th line.

A page means a leaf. For example when you opened the quran you see page 1 and page 2. your answer will be on page 15.

Some times to understand even translation is very difficult. For that start reading Darood/Salavat and re read the translation (in your language). Then read Darood/Salavat few times and read the translation again. Keep on doing it and the answer will come to you automatically.

Asslamu alaykum, is it permissible when facing a problem or decision to open the Quran and close one's eyes and wherever your finger lands one should use that verse for guidance? Is this allowed or mentioned by ulama or is it a Bidah?
