I have read in AL amnu wal ula of Ala hazrath that the word khuda can be used for other than god. I think it has other meaning also. Insha Allah I'll try to quote that.

Apologies, yes "cares not" is inappropriate at the least. What I meant to say "to seek him exclusively", the common person think he can only be with lord in prayer or fasting. The demeaning of prayer and fasting is not the aim, because we know through hadith and saying that ugly prayer is thrown back at the person, and when one fasts so much yes still not changing their ego, keeps bad habits, and feasts his/her stomach full come iftar time. (I assume, husne dhan, both these type of prayer and fasting were being mentioned.

Of course once the person does engrave his heart with Zikr isme dhat Allah, Prayer becomes most dearest like how you mentioned, as the dearest of three things to our Beloved Nabi was prayer. Imam Rabbani also mentions that most dearest experience for the awliya.

This is wrong at many levels. The closest one to Allah is his beloved Rasool (saws) who spent his nights in tahajjud. We should not be making excuses for statements that are incorrect.

There are several verses of the Quran about salah and prostration and as brother Aqib has pointed out it is kufr to demean this act of worship. In fact the opening verses of Surah Muzammil were revealed to the Holy Prophet (saws) about his praying tahajjud at night further signifying the need and importance of salah!

the common man takes it as the opposite - just as the fake peer claims. and to demean salaah or fasting, are Kufr.

the words "care not to fast....." (at least the English translation)- are totally misleading.

This just means that since Allah zikr is engraved in the heart of the person, he cares not fo pursue fasting or prostation to seek him. He is always with him (metaphorically).

~ This does not mean that prayer/ fasting is useless, rather they reached their destination through the fast and prayer and the novelty of this has passed and the taste of Heart in constant Zikr of Allah ﷻ is more flavorable.

From the link that bro Harris has provided

"But those who have found God’s Name in their hearts
Care not to fast nor prostrate themselves in formal prayer."

This is one of the signs of a fake Peer nowadays. When you question them about their obligatory salah they state that they have no need as their salah takes place in their hearts!

Totally agree with brother Aqib. It's also a shame that naat khwan such as Owais Qadri also promote Bedam Warsi when singing his poems.

These poets should also not speak in riddles that sound more like kufr to the common man and when questioned they state that it's a spiritual thing that the common one won't understand (gehrahi hai masle mein)!

This poet (Bedum Waarsi) is problematic - he crosses all boundaries, which cannot be condoned at all.

His couplets should not be read anywhere.

I cite one more example in which he claims that RasulAllah is actually Allah - and since the "secret" is out, there is no point in hiding it anymore. This is blatant KUFR.

Ishq ki ibtedaa bhi tum, Ishq ki intehaa bhi tum,
rehne do raaz khul gayaa, bandey bhi tum khuda bhi tum.

    We seek Allah's refuge.

if the poet was only talking about prostration, it would be different. even the thought of mentioning RasulAllah `alayhi's salatu wa't taslim with a but-khana or a idol-house/temple is distasteful.

if the poet is among the gnostics, he has an excuse -
hosh meiN jo na ho woh kya na karey [or in this case kahey]
but it is not permissible for us to repeat it. whether the poems of ibn al-fariD or shaykh al-akbar, the ambiguous ones are always to be avoided in following the prophetic advise: renounce that which is doubtful, and choose that which is not doubtful. aw kama qaala alayhi's salatu wa's salam.

that is how i understand and Allah ta'ala knows best.

In my opinion it's not right but I aren't exactly well-versed in the Islamic sciences. Maybe bro Abul Hasan or Abu Nibras can shed some light inshallah.

Here the Ashiq-e-rasool is showing his love toward Prophet Salahualiwasalm with a great love, and probably it is quite difficult to understand fully common people, and leading us to wrong direction like Kaaba and Butt khana, but there is no relation of either of these, as he means he respect towards Huzur allahualaihusalm, irrespective of the direction, so where ever he see's huzur sallahualaiwasalm, here will give full respect, and you can say the same shair in other way as below.

SANGE DAR JAANA PAR KARTA HOON JABHI SAAIN

SAJDA NA SAMAJ NAJDI SAR DETA HOO NAZRANA

Brother, I hope that cleared your doubt, and one more thing, if some shair which gives confusion to the ignorant people, butter don't express those sort of shair infront of them, as that will be utilize by Gustaq-e-rasool to take way their innocent people.

THIS WAS A REPLY ON ANOTHER FORUM
THE NAAT IS BEKHUD KIYAY DETAY HAIN BY BEDAM SHAH SAHIB
    WHOSE KALAM IS COMMONLY RECITED
