Dulha means the "groom"; the person who is the center of attraction, the cause of celebration, the focus of every eye, the person through whom every one else gets a share of happiness, food, and charity. the one for whom the everyone gathers, the one for whom lavish arrangements are made, the one whose happiness is sought, the one whom everyone wants to please and serve, the one who is most dazzling and handsome, the one who is the best dressed, the one whom the bride awaits, ................

apply those to the groom of the creation, the beloved of Allah; you will find so many similarities.

a fine example of the word Dulha, used by Ala Hazrat, in Qaseedah Meyraaj:-

May Allah grant patience, O the distressed soul! How can I describe to you that occasion?
When the angels had surrounded him, and were adorning him as the Groom of Heaven.
