Is it correct to say Islam would not exist without the quran??

    Wa Alaikum As Salam

    The scholars say a person would still be questioned about Tawheed (Allah's Oneness, and worship exclusively for Him) whether the Message reached him or not. This aspect of Islam would still exist without the Quran pak.

    Without the Quran pak we wouldn't be liable to the wider rulings and the deen of Islam

    Whoever wrote that question views the wider deen that we have as Islam, and this is a personal choice which is open to interpretation of individuals.

    The question and its correct answer is a bit narrow minded because its actual answer is far more complicated. You are not over complicating things, it's not a question which should be posed like that

    I came across a workbook for primary kids and there were some true and false statements. One of the statements was islam would exist without the quran and according to the workbook this was a false . IMaybe I am over complicating thing but I was unsure if we could say this statement is false. Any thouhhts?
