Close - I download those too (such as Tigani's translation of Imam Jurjani's Ta'rifat) though the difference here is that the orientalist translations I'm looking for tend to be well over 100 years old and were done during the British Empire. You may still find orientalists kicking around and publishing today, but not every university dissertation of a translation is an orientalist one.

I was wondering the same thing. Generally I used to find these translations on my university journal research page or by typing PhD, thesis etc. in the search bar.

    As Salāmu ʿAlaykum wa RaḥmatulLāh,

Having read some of de Slane's translation of Wafyat al-Ay'aan in English, I was wondering if someone had compiled a list of all the translations of Islamic texts into English orientalists had done. Overall, if they are accurate translations, then since many are out of copyright they may be useful for those who do not know Arabic.
