To be fair what he said, although at times it looked like he might go off on some wrong direction, was a Haqq. His initial comment "nabi did not know THAT which his Creator did not know" was an ilzami (known to be false) jawab to someone else and his point ended with "koi kami nahi chorre". Hence neither Allah's knowledge is equated nor does any person have the right to question the knowledge given to the Prophet SallAllaahu alaihi wa alihi wa Sallam. There was no intention to equate to Allah, but it was lacking in praise of Allah because that was not his purpose but then again Sunnis hardly ever do praise Allah from the stage (although we need that teaching the most)
What can we say? totally against sunni aqeedah, if we say it is "jahalah" then it will be disrespect of the shaykh, but they have got a license to disrespect their Lord Allah Subhanu wa Ta'ala. If ulama cannot control their tongues then how could you tell what should be said and believed for Allah Subhanu wa Ta'la and what should not, very soon sunni awam will become mujassamiyyah (al iy'adhu billah), and attribute every human characteristic to Him Subhanu wa Ta'ala
Yeah I found that part problematic too. I felt those 2-3 minutes, the adab which one should be talking about Allah most High was not quite right. This is apart from the seemingly equating issue that sidi Abu Hasan touched upon
‘Un ka checker Allah hai. Ilm de, na de, kitna de kaha tak de, yeh tere sochne ki baat nahi, yeh us ke sochne ki baat hai jis ne bheja hai’ Is it permissible to attribute ‘sochna’ to Allah? Also ‘sakhiyon ka sakhi rabb hai’
irfan shah says: "nabi did not know THAT which his Creator did not know" while the choice of words is poor, one can do ta'wil that a negative was used to convey: "he knew all that his Creator knew". of course, even that is problematic [and for which another ta'wil can be made] but speakers in our times just go full steam without thinking what their words entail. --- nas'alu Allah al-aafiyah.
Brothers watch this video from 2 hours 21 minutes and consider is Shah sahib equating the knowledge of the Holy prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with Allah most High. I have only put this up after @abu Hasan mentioned shah sahib and his adab towards Allah most High. In those 2-3 minutes, look at how Shah sahib is talking about Allah most High. A shame because the rest of the speech was really soul awakening.
irfan shah has no adab talking about Allah sub'Hanahu wa ta'ala, but will talk of adab about sayyidah faTimah raDi'Allahu anha. when did he turn to the dark side? لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله نسأل الله العافية
"agar me subHan hoon aur subHan pehre laga kr karha ho. qibla subHan k pehre me hai" I found this statement to be odious.
Is there a way you can find the full video with the exact time? Just to get a sense of what context this was said
