    Khalifah of #Alahazrat, Mufti Sayyid Na'im al-Din Muradabadi writes in his marginalia to Kanz regarding وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ :

'Meaning, the hereafter is better than this life because there, you have the station of praise, the lake-fount, the promised goodness and superiority over the prophets and messengers and for your nation to be a witness upon previous nations and for the ranks of believers to be elevated due to your intercession and other countless honours and nobilities that are beyond words.

Exegetes have also explained this verse to mean that future events will be better than those past and that it is Divine Promise that day by day, He will raise your rank and bestow honour upon honour and status upon status and that every moment, your stations will be in perpetual incrementation.'
