    subHan Allah. one of the mujaddid's of the 14th century. he was from the progeny of faruq al-a'adham radiyAllahu ta'ala henc; hence, faruqi.

    his was the only mosque in the subcontinent to have a special khutba on 'id milad al-nabi sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam.

    If you read his book, Anwaar-e-Ah'medi ('Alaihi AfDalus Salato was Salaam), you'll feel much ecstatic. certainly, you'll treasure it for its conciseness, and true gems of love for our beloved prophet ('Alaihi AfDalus Salato was Salaam)



    This was my very first experience I came to know about his eminence through this masterpiece.



    May peace and blessing of Allah Subh'ano wa Ta'ala be upon his grave.
