the hadith mentioned by aqib bhai:

also, in baHr al-ulum of samarqandi:

it is said that all the qur'an was brought by Jibril alayhi's salam except this verse which Allah ta'ala revealed to RasulAllah sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam directly. some others said the whole surah is medinian, and since miraj took place during makkah, it could not have been so. the difference of opinion is there.

NAK, the scoundrel is an absolute ignoramus, an ajhal:

    1. this ayat of the Holy Qur'an was revealed in Medinah Munawwarah - long after the start of the waHy, that occurred in Makkah mua'zzamah - as per the opinion of the majority of the scholars. in the narration of syeduna Ibn Abbas (in Sahih Muslim) , it says that these 2 verses were granted to Rasul-Allah, during his Me'raj. nevertheless, there is no doubt that this did not happen in the cave of Hira.

    2. furthermore, the address in this ayah is not directly (or singularly) to the Holy Prophet; it is for the benefit of the entire fraternity of Muslims, who were with the Holy Prophet.

    3. the 'reason for revelation' clarifies #2. (check any tafseer) - and it is completely different from the conjured up innovation presented by the donkey NAK. he wants people to believe that this this ayah is referring to the first revelation, (as he says - "and Allah is letting him know, that when Gibril first came.")

so what is it that he SallALlahu alayhi wa sallam believed in?

tafsir jalalayn, surah baqarah, verse 285:

    jalalayn, s2v285.png

i.e. The prophet Muhammad sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam attested (Saddaqa) - "all that was revealed to him from his Lord Almighty Rabb", i.e. the qur'an.

    ---
this has NO relation to bearing faith, similar to hitherto kafirs in our time who 'convert, revert, taking shahadah' that nouman says further.

according to him in the video posted:

    at 21:25:

i want you to imagine the situation. Allah is telling this aayah, to RasulAllah sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam directly. ok. bila Hijab. he is telling him directly. and the thing he tells him is, that the Rasul SallAllahu alayhi wa sallam...

see..if you are talking to someone...if i talk to you...if you are, for example a professor, I say: 'you are sitting here'. I don't say: 'the professor is sitting here'. because if i am talking to you, i use the second person; i don't use the third person.

But Allah is talking to the Messenger alayhi's salatu wa's salam. what does He say: 'Aaman al-Rasul'...laa, lam yaqul (no, He did not say)...aamanta. yukhatibuhu mubasharatan, a laysa kadhalik...(He is addressing him, is it not so?). he is talking to him directly. He didn't say: 'you believed', he said: 'the messenger believed'. SallAllahu alayhi wa sallam. wa hadha takriman li'n nabiyy alayhi's salatu wa's salam. even in his presence He speaks in the third person to honour him. alayhi's salatu wa's salam.
