Assalam-o-alaikum, MashAllah! interesting question! Brother as per my limited knowledge, it was Allamah Ibn Taymiyyah who invented the division of Tauhid and Muhammad ibn abdul wahhab najdi expounded on it. The terms "Tauhid Ruboobiyah" & "Tauhid Uloohiyah" are definitely not to be found in Quran and Hadith. Lastly, Knowledgeable brothers can shed some light on, if Imam-e-Adham(RahimuAllah) & Imam Tahawi(RahimuAllah) accepting such a categorization. Salam
Is categorizing (Taqseem) Tawhid really a Bid'ah? The wahabis divide Tawhid into 3 and this is Bid'ah. However, there are some and say it isn't Bidah and mention that the pious predecessors like Imam Abu Hanifa and Imam Tahawi did this.
