I don't buy any of this stuff about Deobandis whispering into ears and then convincing Arabs because 'Arabs don't know the reality'. The truth is a lot of the Arab world has turned to an Ikhwani-unity based attitude. There are scholars calling for unity with the Rawafid, like Tawfiq alButi, who refers to the Twelvers as 'Ikwanuna alJa'fariya'. Nuh Kellers has the originals of the Deo works as early as 2003. He knows 'Imkan alKidhb' was not coined by A'la Hadrat. But he still does not revise anyone of his positions after all his points having been thoroughly tackled by numerous individuals including Shaykh Abu Hasan and others. G F Haddad has seen all relevant material. Recently G F Haddad tried accomadating the position of 'fana alNar' (perishing of hellfire) and salvation of all disbelievers. He strongly opposed Shaykh Amjad Mahmud for refuting him. Only Shaykh Munawwar and Shaykh Amjad refuted him on these points. This lead to the 'Sunna Principles' forum being inactive. G F Haddad was also angry that no one defended T J Winter on these issues and became very insulting. Resently G F Haddad has made more weird statements regarding the status of Imam Mahdi and the status of the Shaykhayn. You look up his recent posts on eshaykh website. In conclusion i would say individuals formulate their own views, positions and opinions and they alone are responsible for those positions. The reason and motives could be personal gain, reputation and image to seem 'moderate and balance and win people over' and a host of other things which cross peoples minds.

Scholars who do not have roots in subcontinent can not have access to all the deobandi books. Shaykh Nuh was fooled by these deobandis ,that is why he ended up saying" Imam Ahmed Rida coined the term imkan e kidhb", the fact being it was used by deobandis first as it has been proved with scans avaibale on internet. As a long terme strategy deobandis might try to become close to Shaykh Dr GF Haddad and then influence his view. We know deobandis can employ any strategy to full fill their hidden agenda. It is possible that deobandis might be trying to become close to shaykh GF Haddad through his sunna classes group on ineternet or through email exchange. Deobandi lying and fabrications in book is well known. We should provide all deobandi related material on internet with scans, so that if some one is really interested he can read. It is on record that moderator of one of the deobandi forum agreed that any one who says that any creature has more knowledge than prophet, then it is Kufr. Later he was told that, Gangohi and Ambethvi wrote that angel of death has more knowledge than prophet . [ May Allah save us from this]. He had no answer. Those sunnis who are in touch with shaykh Haddad should provide him original scans ( avaialble on ineternet) so that he can beleive that 1. Deobandi elders ( "akabir") have shown disrespect to Prophet in many books. 2. Beleif of Ismail dehalvi about Allah ( location, time , space) 3.Self takfir by deobandi elders on each other!! 4. Deobandi fabrication being done in books. And about those who do not accept truth even after truth has been made clear, then we can not help. If they were sincerely looking for truth, they would have replied and discussed, which they chose not to do.
