    ks -- i looked into the courses in the syllabus and it was actually very beneficial and useful knowledge for any imam or wannabe imam wishing to preach in the UK.

    i think it would be a good idea for our top ulema to learn english and attend tbh. then they would be in a even better position to tackle the objections by the deviants..

    Reminds me of Sir Sayyid Ahmed Khan's Aligarh University, only this is the England version.

  5. a related question: is there any place (in the UK) where a mature adult can study traditional islamic sciences? if not in the UK, where is the best place to go to become an alim which has no age limit?
     
  6. masha Allah. I was unaware of this place. It seems to be really good. The prospectus is really well made. To enrol you have to have graduated from a traditional madrassah first though...
