Maybe you should also start respecting the privlages you are provided with e.g. Forums, videos on youtube etc and also have at least an ounce of respect for the time and effort SUNNI brothers put in. It's easy to be a bystander and point faults and make FALSE accusations
I respect brother AbdalQadir as Sunni brother, and enjoy his posts and anecdotes most of the times. And I do take his advice seriously and listen to him carefully most of the times.
Wadood I find your behaviour rather bizarre. First you come on to the 'foolish' SunnaForum, you then create multiple IDs, you then get banned, you then literally begged to be allowed back on to this 'foolish' forum. How very strange your behaviour is Wodood. Is SunnaForum not a forum of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah? Is SunniTalk not a website of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah? It seems you often come on to this forum which is also of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah and try to stir things up. For some reason I fear you may have a hidden agenda. You seem to find it hard to stomach the fact that we the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah wether it be SunniPort, SunniTalk or SunnaForum have exposed tafzilis.
Sufficient it is to say that Peer Mehr Ali Shah rahimahuAllah wrote that anyone who holds a divergent opinion on the tafdil issue is a deviant. This can be seen in 'Fataawa Mihriya', the new edition.
i believe foolish websites as SunniTalk and sunnaforum have done big dis-service in spreading personal hatred against pir abdul qadir jilani, a sayyid, and his followers. yes they are tafzili in aqida, and yes they personally hate Sayyid 'Irfan Shah alMashhadi Hafi zu hu Allah, but that does not warrant we reciprocate their behaviour. pir abdul qadir jilani is to be disagreed with strongly, but he is still sayyid
Brother NJ, I know you've taken a break from forums in order to read and reflect. Would you happen to know, based on your readings, how the scholars of hadith tended to define a 'shi'i' as opposed to a 'rafidi'? Where did tafdil historically fit into that equation? If you are able to answer that, you may realise that the issue of tafdil is quite a big one. If one is going to refuse to acknowledge the tafdil ash-shaykhayn, the least one can do is to consign the knowledge to Allah, and keep quiet as to ultimately who the most afdal sahabi was.
I don't see anything wrong with the fatwa -- it clearly says Hazrat Abu Bakr is afzal but doesn't anaethamatize those who hold Hazrat Ali afzal as many great people in the past held that view. It is a very balanced fatwa in my opinion. More importantly, I find your lack of respect for the noble sayyids and scholar-shaykhs of Golra Sharif disgusting. I am not a murid of Golra Sharif but consider myself not worthy even to mention the name of Pir Mihr Ali Shah and his descendents. Me out!
