Calling the Sahabah kafir

That's not really providing a reference. If you say 'according to ala hazrat' then it's upon you to bring evidence showing that what you've claimed is actually ala hazrat's stance.

 

Don't worry brother, il get you a reference within a couple of days if the Almighty wills.

 

The Holy Prophet (Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said, “Fire will not touch the Muslim who saw me, and the Muslim who saw the Muslim who saw me.” (Tirmizi, Mishkaat).

 

That doesn't qualify as a reference.

Allah name i begin with, Most Gracious Most Merciful.

According to the Fuqaha(Islamic Jurists) the person who calls the Sahaba a Kafir becomes a Kafir himself and therefore leaves the fold of Islam.

According to the Mutaqalimeen(Theologists) one who says the Sahaba are Kafir, doesn't become a Kafir, rather he becomes a Mubdati(Innovater).

The safer opinion according to AlaHazrat is the view of the Fuqaha(Jurists).

Allah and his Noble Messenger know best.

 

Whats the ruling if one does takfir on the sahabah? Does this then make that person themselves a kafir?
