  5. Sorry, correction-I meant is eating two hot dishes together classed as haram? In other words what ruling in Fiqh would be derived from this

  6. Is the not eating two hot dishes together classed as Haram, Makruh if one does it or recommendation not to do this? This is because people are doing this all the time, even three times a day.

    I am not sure if that reference is entirely correct or at least it's context.

    Sahih Muslim Book 23, Number 4982:

    Anas reported: I served drink to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) in this cup of mine: honey, Nabidh, water and milk.

    In the above we have Nabidh which is traditionally made of fruits (grapes/raisins/dates).

    Allah knows best!

    What about milk + Fruits = as in fruit milk shakes.

    Imam Suyuti RadiAllahu Anhu mentions in his book Tibb An Nabawi:

    "The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم forbade eating the following together at the same meal: milk and fish, or vinegar and milk, or fruit and milk, or lettuce and fish, or garlic and onions, or dried meat and fresh meat, or sour things and acid things, or sumach and vinegar, or vinegar and rice, or grapes and excessive eating of aubergines, or pomegranates and meat pudding, or two cold dishes, or two hot dishes, or two wind-producing dishes."

    Assalamu'Alaykum

    I wish to ask about the ruling on eating Fish. I've read on "Seekerspath" website that Ala Hazrat Rahmatullahi Ta'ala Alayh states; “Fish are lawful, be they dry or wet, except for those that die naturally and float upon water".

    Heres the link;

    http://www.seekerspath.co.uk/questi...0354-are-prawns-crabs-shellfish-halal-to-eat/

    As we are aware there are many Muslims out there who buy fish burger meal and fish fingers without investigating and not being aware that the fish which they ate, was it lawful or did it die naturally? So in this case, lets say if the fish died naturally and was fried in oil, the oil becomes haram and the chips which was also fried in that specific oil becomes haram too...

    So i wanted to know in this case what is the ruling for eating Fish burger meal and fish fingers? Can someone please shed some light?

    Jazak'Allahu Khayraan.

    I don't have a reference but I've read it and it attributed it as a hadith.

    I believe that hadith recommends to not have fish and dairy together.

    But how far apart should you have them? Hour? Two?
