Harris no offence mate, but you need a reality check. Chillout lad with the constant narrative of 'so and so is this and that' worry about your own situation. There maybe major differences in many areas but do something constructive once and post a positive comment on some good work. inshaa Allah. I hope you will take my advice on board.
Last night our Director Khadijah Al-Kubra Khan was instructed by volunteers & donors of charity @sktwelfare to seek a public inquiry upon the release of Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi’s public statement. This morning we contacted the Charity Commission to provide us with a report.— Duncan Lewis Solicitors (@DuncanLewis) February 23, 2018
3 years ago the accountant Imran Khalid told Sh Yaqoubi regarding the corruption. Sh Yaqoubi silenced him. In 3 years after couering tracks now Majid is made an escape goat.
..........."we should never oppose the Shaykh, and crucially, no person is bigger than the Shaykh. Sincerity and submission to the Shaykh is paramount, and we trust in Sayyiduna."...... .....here lies the crux of the problem!!
Have they been reported to the Charity Commission? https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/charity-commission They claimed to be a 100% donation charity, surely they must pay back? Will those who gave zakat (thinking 100% of the donated money will reach the needy) need to pay more now to cover previous years?
Just because that letter is out, is there any reason to believe it is true? How is it Akram Nadwi wasn't audited for all these years but we're expected to believe the overnight narrative that these brothers have been defrauding people. Burden of proof is upon the accuser, and right now it's words on a paper.
I think this Brother needs to retake the weekend aqida crash course seems submission is above the Deen
Its a pity Shaykh Yaseen, Raja Adnaan, Waseem and others illuminate personalities did not say nothing in public when Mirpuri sisters were jumping out of planes strapped to gorai on top of them for SKT charity. At least back then Wajid Bandalywi was courageous to speak out.
