    Taj al-Shari’ah says that it is not allowed and it should not be used as it is not befitting of the status of the Prophet ﷺ.


    Maidan e na’t e shah e deen Akhtar hai purkhatar zameen

    I remember reading somewhere that using the word "kamli" for Sarkar Nabi ﷺ is disrespectful.

    However, the same word is used whilst mentioning the Prophetﷺ during bayans, at the Mehfils and also when Na'at e Pak is recited which tells us that it is permissible to use "kamli" for the Prophet ﷺ. Can someone please kindly shed some light on this?
