at a guess, mufakkir e islam pir sayyid 'abdul qadir shah sahib.

it's a bit like the word makruh - if imam abu hanifa says makruh; it means makruh tahrima - and if we say just shah sahib; it is mufakkir e islam!

i have changed the title because, imam dhahabi adds: 'wa kana biha birran'

'he was very assiduous in his duty towards his mother'

  4. Shah Sahib has a speach where he speaks about the suffering undertaken by Imam e Azam at the hands of the corrupt caliphs and rulers and he weeps a lot in that talk, If someone knows which speech I am on about it would be great if they could link to it. he also speaks of the suffering of the other 3 Imams too.
He said at the heart of it all was the hatred of the Ahlul Bayt and the fact that the Imams supported the rights of the Ahle Bayt whom the rulers feared wished to overthrow their corrupt rule.
Didnt Imam Sahib give 50 000 dirhams or some other huge amount to Imam Zayd ibn Ali (?) in support of his jihad against the Ummayads and didnt he say that if he hadnt been too old he would have fought in it himself.

    Imam Dhahabi in his manaqib:

When Abu Hanifah was lashed for not accepting the post of Chief Justice, he said: 'Nothing hurt me more than the thought of my mother, who is hurt because of my suffering'.
