in other words, previous wahabis had some sense and knowledge, wahabis in our time are getting stupider and stupider.

shaykh yaqubi's statement is absolutely fine.

here is arabic proof of what janab aqib sahib has explained below.

in tafsir ibn aashur, he mentions that the pronoun can mean either nabiy sallALlahu alayhi wa sallam, (which is obvious, he says) and also Allah sub'Hanahu wa ta'ala, which is clearly understood.

    إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

he is probably referring to this ayah of Surah Bani Israel (regarding the Me'raj).

Innahu, huwa - so the zameer of "Huwa" is mentioned twice; here the subtle reference is that indeed Allah is the All Seeing, the All Hearing and the Holy Prophet did SEE the great spectacle - i.e. the Vision of Allah - and that he did LISTEN to the Words of Allah.

where did Sh. Yaqoobi (or Shaykh Mohiyuddin ibn Arabi) say that in this trait the Holy Prophet is equal to Allah the Supreme????

if the wahhabis object to these traits, which are present in creatures, they will have to acknowledge that they are deaf and dumb themselves.

    صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Deaf, dumb and blind; and they are not to return.
