Subhan Allah I read some of the items discussed by Mawalana Shaykh Asrar in a book titled Ala Hazarth view on the political, social and economical strategy of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan translated by Raza Academy in the eary 1990s. A lot of the points mentioned in relation to dar al harb and dar al islam in relation to india are also mentioned in the book, along other points, however the noble teacher has explained these in more detail in the video, and has given excellent modern day examples.

    Jazak Allah. excellent share.

If followers of Alahazrat do end up refuting an idea or personality, it is due to differing in issues upon which there is ijma'a. It is not sectarianism but rather standing for laid down principles.

it's very useful how shaykh categorised the fatawa of alahazrat into 3 categories and that differing in furu' does not have the same consequence as differing in usul. some modern day followers of shuyukh like to categorise all fatawa together and claim that it is not harmful to disagree with alahazrat. what they should be saying is what shaykh said, i.e. differing with alahazrat in issues that are differed upon anyway won't take you out of ahlu's sunnah but doing so in the daruriyat certainly will.

they like to promote the fallacy that 'barelwis' attack anyone who differs from alahazrat. what they should clarify is that no one will be attacked by followers of alahazrat for differing respectfully with him on secondary issues. yes, they may be refuted intellectually. the only time a full blown refutation will be made is when people differ with alahazrat on the fundamentals in which case, differing with alahazrat is synonymous to differring with the ijma'a and the jama'ah.
