Abdul Qadir is a baby, to be totally honest he would not last 10 minutes with ali hassan khan in a debate, it is funny how every tom, dick and harry is attributed with the title of Allama, and Shaykh by those who are around them. Abdul Qadir was studying with Shaykh Asrar when the Debate took place with Dimishqiyah. As for qais ahmed he is anoother fitna causer on facebook who caused this debate by initially calling out abu ibraheem, and then moving on to ali hassan khan. Abdul Qadir has accepted to debate on the topic of ilm ul ghayb, I would like to see this debate go foreward and Abdul Qadir debate without coming back to the likes of Shaykh Asrar etc to 'help him', surely an 'Allama' and 'Shaykh' of his 'calibre' who himself challenged the wahabis should be able to handle it. It was more of a publicity stunt than anything else really. Like when he challenged Maulana Nabeel afzal and addressed him as a takfiri he thought Maulana Nabeel would be an easy target, especially after he was confident he has the upper hand and his arabic is better than Maulana Nabeel's after watching Maulana Nabeel Afzal's youtube lectures on Noor ul Idaah, Maulana Nabeel accepted his challenge and then he backed out lol Prior to this we had asim hussain challenging abdur rahman dimishqiyah for a debate on the topic of Istigaathah and Istia'nah. Abdur Rahman dimishqiyah would have ate Asim for breakfast and also would have done the biggest burp of his life after that lol. This debate is definitely one that I would love to watch.

Lol Nope I just knew him previously and knew that small amount of information regarding him so was trying to support your statement. Unlike yourself, I didn't know the entire syllabus he had studied with a teacher therefore I can't be that close . Anyway how did Yaseen egg him on? What did he do?
It's true, what kattar is saying, I remember he used to tell people that Sidi Shaykh Asrar was his teacher. How did you find out exactly what he studied? you must be a very close and trusted student of the Shaykh mashallah. yaseen egged him on? What did he do?
I remember the video in which he was attacking Brother Nabeel... he came across very poor in his english and logic... hope he does a better job with hassan ali khan
People in circles of knowledge in Birmingham are in the know. AQ offered out Nabeel on moonsighting issue. He accused Nabeel of being a takfiri, and that he was defending Mufti Yar. Even though Mufti Yar said anyone who doesn't follow his fatwa is a kafir. He said this to a few locals. In the past he even said things like ninety per cent of UK Muslims are Kafir. Nabeel accepted debate challenge and said Asrar will be the judge and it will be held in Asrar's house. AQ took his video off and backed down. Now it's good his challenging Wahabis and not Sunnis. Even though Yaseen and others were egging AQ behind the scenes to challenge Nabeel. But of people like Yaseen back off later.
Stop spreading fitna. There's no 'doing it alone' involved. He challenged him and he accepted it. I don't see how Shaykh Asrar comes into it lol
His an old student of his. Studied his ibaarat, tajwid, basic aqidah and fiqh with him. However he is doing this debate thing alone as he didn't like it when his former teacher intervened on the Nabeel issue as an arbitrator.

They should both leave issues of creed to be addressed by senior scholars who have studied for longer, hold more knowledge & have more experience in debating. If Ali Hassan was to debate Shaykh Asrar then that would be a death blow to his ambition as a debater... I was present in Birmingham when he didn't show up last time for the debate... his just a flop who isn't even worthy of being entertained by someone of Shaykh Asrar's calibre. Abdul Qadeer could learn a thing or two from Shaykh Asrar
I do agree to an extent, and i only say the debate needs to go ahead because he issued it to start off with, i wasnt talking about how much theyve studied, i was referring to the standard of english, which is appalling on both sides... This guy would get annihilated by Sh.Asrar
lol so according to his logic if you've studied 3 years then you are at the standard of someone who can go out to debate Aqeeda. I don't know anything about Abdul Qadeer who he mentions in the video but if they are evenly matched then I assume he to has studied around the 3 year mark, I personally believe that debates should be left to people who have completed comprehensive dars nizami courses, 8 years minimum would be a good start...

On the subject of debates People seem to forget the desired result which is two fold; that is to say the opponents false arguments be defeated on the one hand and that the opponent may be guided to the truth along with those who view the debate on the other. Knowledge without the correct delivery just won't work just like the correct delivery without knowledge won't work. Then there is the subject of approaching with hate or love, one is more inclined to be seen as criticising if hate is the approach in which case the opponents heart becomes restricted if he feels criticised. Approaching with love is more effective in creating an atmosphere of advice and opening the hearts. The Sunnah is to guide people gently with beautiful advice. Practically speaking, Many debates don't appear to wield the desired results and for onlookers they seem to be heated arguments. That is because most of the time no one thinks of setting clearly laid out pre conditions. I suggest you set a precondition of clearly laid out definitions of Ilme Ghaib etc. and ask him to submit a list of the Scholars who he accepts that are commonly accepted by him and you. When you can prove the arguments using the Scholars he himself has provided along with the definitions he wants to use, you'll stand a better chance inshaAllah. Allah knows Best
