If you free me from the shackles of Satan, how wonderful it will be! If you make me your own, how wonderful it will be! Gardishe daur ne paa-maal kiya mujh ko huzoor, Apne qadmon me sulaao, to bahot achchaa ho. The travails of time have trampled me, O my Master! If you put me to rest at your feet, how wonderful it will be! Yun to kehlata hun banda mein tumhaara lekin, Apnaa keh ke jo bulaao, to bahot achchaa ho. I am recognized as your servant, but O my Master! If you call me your own, how wonderful it will be! Tum to murdon ko jilaa detey ho, merey aaqaa, Merey dil ko bhi jilaao, to bahot achchaa ho. You do give life to the deceased, O my Master! If you revive my dead heart, how wonderful it will be! Ro chukaa yun to mein auron ke liye khoob magar, Apni ulfat me rulaao, to bahot achchaa ho. I have cried enough for the sake of others, however If you cause me to shed tears in your love, how wonderful it will be! Yun na Akhtar ko phiraao merey maulaa, dar dar, Apni chuakhat pe bithaao, to bahot achchaa ho. And make not Akhtar wander hither thither, O my Master – If you put me at your doorstep, how wonderful it will be!
