Once again Islam patronized on the way and by none other than the worst .. Bollywood .. the brainwasher of the masses!

Islam misused, the graves of Awliya Allah misused

Message of Islam overshadowed by secularism, hinduism, perennialism!

who knows what the Message of the Sufis really was?

The Peace March from Delhi to Multan started off today from the tombs of Sufi poets and thinkers Amir Khusro and Nizamuddin Aulia. One of the organizers – Sandeep Pandey – along with movie director Mahesh Bhatt offered their respects at the tombs.

Over 300 people were present during a 2 hour session of qawwalli and devotional songs. Mahesh Bhatt announced that one of the songs in his next movie would be dedicated to this peace march.

The gathering then moved to Bharatiyam – the Bharat Scouts and Guides Center – where discussions on peace between India and Pakistan lasted over four hours. Again, a large audience of over 300 people including people from various demographic groups participated. Charul and Vinay – two people who have done much on religious harmony and community building in Gujarat through music and songs – also participated.

A Pakistani delegation including thinker and educationist Prof. A. H. Nayyar was part of the gathering and will join the march. There is a group of about 40 Pakistanis who are waiting in Lahore for Indian visas so that they can join March as well. Meera – a film personality from Pakistan who has also worked in Bollywood – managed to participate in the gathering after she got a last minute visa-permit to visit Delhi.

Others in the gathering included prominent thinkers and social activists including Nirmala Deshpande, Medha Patkar, Aruna Roy, Swami Agnivesh. Journalist Javed Naqvi, film personalities Nandita Das and Nafeesa Ali were also present. International groups from Tibet and Japan participated in the gathering along with Osama Hussein, an Iraqi thinker who has resisted Saddam Hussein in the past and now continues to work for withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq.

Over 15 groups and organizations from India and Pakistan were represented in the march including Insaaf, Peace, PILER, Asiaye Awam, Pakistan Peace Coalition, etc.

The march will start tomorrow morning at 7 AM and make its way towards west Delhi, Kingsway camp and Delhi University.
