This should be extracted and posted as a separate PDF. When people search for Muhannad (the book) on internet, this file should be the number one search result.

i agree with you, however i do not intend to translate TKM from start to end because there is already a lot of stuff available in urdu exposing deobandi heresies and hypocrisy. what i want to do is

    (i) briefly introduce shaykh nuh and his article to show our urdu speaking sunnies that how deobandies conspire to exonerate their elders

(ii) warn urdu speaking sunnies about fake sufies so that if they happen to listen to keller they would already know that he is a deobandi sympathizer

(iii) there would be many elderly (specially migrated) people in the west who would feel more comfortable reading urdu books because urdu is still their main language at home; or they speak desi english, so TKM is too much for them, yet they are worried about iman of their kids.

(iv) the framework is not keller's own, faraz and hamzah conspired and fed him all those century old deobandi excuses and deceptions. TKM has nicely debunked them in one place, refutation of the framework in urdu certainly will be useful.

    (v) there are some nice tables which are yet missing in urdu books

so, my plan is to take everything which is useful in TKM for urdu speaking sunnies and put it in a small book which can be finished in a couple of sessions.

a little extra information never goes amiss.

It will educate urdu speakers about a few more ways in which falsehood attacks truth.

also: 1. how NOT to reason, 2. how to detect and expose sophistry etc.

I would surely want to know about a german or polish or czech fraud who swindles people in the name of deen - so that I can be per-emptorly guarded against tricks of that ilk.

    From this thread:

I was curious to know the decision behind rendering TKM into Urdu. I think the content on the Deos in TKM should be translated into Urdu, but is the content on Keller needed in Urdu as well? If one is Urdu speaking and resides in the West, then he/she probably knows English as well and therefore TKM is sufficient. If one is Urdu speaking and resides elsewhere, then they probably don't even know who Keller is therefore would not read the book.

If there is to be something in Urdu, then I would rather it be the ideas discussed in this thread (i.e. TKM minus Keller).

Currently they are selling the book for 50 South African Rand (about 3 USD / 2.2 UK Pounds). It is a good quality print (412 pages), and I think the cost is not high, considering that the fund goes into further publishing.

Nevertheless brother Younus Karim is a good friend, and I will speak to him if it can be put online for free.

Brother Younus Karim in South Africa has compiled a lovely book that deals with many of the contentious issues (some regarding aqeedah) - and whilst presenting the solid evidences on behalf of Ahle-Sunnah, refutes the heresies of the Salafi-Wahhabi-Deobandi gang in the book named "Our Sunni Identity". I totally recommend that this be circulated among our Sunni youth, who can then refute the rubbish put forth by the bud-mazhabs, by just referencing from the book.

Agreed with respect to the sub-continent born Deos - they are hard set in their ways. My suggestion was geared towards the Western born ones - I don't think all of them are so hard set that they wouldn't recognize the truth if they're presented with it in a proper manner*. They've grown up in the Deo madrasahs and have never been exposed to real Sunni scholarship (and how would they given the lack of it in Western societies). I don't think they've ever been personally confronted with the mistakes and hypocrisy of their elders and their own incompetence with respect to aqidah. If they have ever actually questioned it themselves, they would have received lies from their elders (e.g. like Taqi Uthmani stating Deos criticized Sunni beliefs therefore Sunni's were upset with them).

    * Before Ridawi Press, I have not seen any works that effectively and clearly present the issues in English. Most of the existing articles, books, etc. found online on Sunni websites are poor English translations.

  12. I think subtlety is important. I think the book should be veiled to address general Aqeeda issues but of course target the misguidance and kufr put forward by deobandits as part of it. Keep the title open, mix in other Aqeeda related answers and market this with a larger view to capturing a worldwide readership. Have it checked and endorsed by well known and respected Scholars from each continent.
I remember a book called software for the soul some time back and it had mass appeal because it had a simple yet powerful title, nice looking cover and was easy to read for many people (no I'm not endorsing this book as its a Wahabi work full of misguidance).

So simple, easy to read, for everyday Muslim Layman on general Aqeeda issues that also target misguidance of deos. with powerful concise answers.

I like, appreciate, and agree to your suggestion to bring people to true ahlussunah; however, it has been more than a century and we know they simply don't listen. they have changed their tactics, and now they pretend to be more barailvi then ever to lure sunni masses. remember manzur nomani hinted at changing their tactics in his letter to taqi usmani

A small delegation of ulema (3 to 4, led by the likes of Shaykh Asrar and Shaykh Monawwar Ateeq) should begin visiting these Deobandi 'scholars' one by one on a regular basis for private meetings to discuss and debate Deo beliefs such as Allah can lie, anthropomorphism, etc. The intention is not to refute these ideas or people per se (as they have already been refuted), but to guide them to Sunni Islam. As such, the debates should not take place in front of the public; it should be in a private gathering and there should be no video or audio recordings (in order to set the Deos at ease). At the end the Deos should be provided with copies of books such as the one proposed in this thread, Ridawi Press books and other works in Urdu and Arabic on the topic of Deo blasphemies.

Who knows, perhaps the Deos will repent, if not immediately then perhaps a month from now, a year from now, five years from now, etc. If they visit ten such 'scholars' and only one repents, it is still a victory - the following year two out of ten will repent, then three, four, etc. In other words, it is a start and one tactic (in addition to other tactics, such as educating the masses on basics) to help turn the tide in favour of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah. If Deo scholars begin repenting en masse, then what Deo 'masaajid' and 'dar al ulooms' will there be left? These would become Ahlus Sunnah as well.

AbdalQadir time to move along! will check pm's.

    i agree with Sunni_porter's post no. 12

Hussamul Haramayn is nothing "new" per se

the operative words in your suggestion are "basic rules are also applicable on others who commit such blasphemies" - which are present in the works of scholars from the beginning of Islam.

what we need is to publicize those basic rules (from the source texts) on a mass publication level and let it be known that anyone who doesn't subscribe to these basic rules is simply a kafir as is someone who defends and makes excuses for such a person, and that this isn't the khariji style takfeering; and leave it at that. in this time of fitnah we'd be very hard pressed to come up with a comprehensive jarh and ta3deel list when just any idiot can become an overnight non-shaykh or non-wali thanks to facebook likes and twitter followers.

don't get me wrong, i am not being apologetic or politically correct trying to hide the Hussam, just saying that non-subcontinentals may well be proper upright Sunnis completely aware of those basic rules of Islam and be fully reverent towards the Prophet 3alaihis salam, and yet not be aware of Hussamul Haramayn

To be honest, there is something in sidi Abu Hasan's writing that the rest of the brothers do not have. Abu Hasan should quit his day job (if he hasn't already) and just write on a full time basis. Or at least go on a sabbatical for a few months to get these works out the door (I'll help pay for your daily expenses if other brothers help as well).

That being said, yes, those that can, need to step up.

I don't know about this. Some things to consider:
    • New scholars and institutions pop up every day. The book would have to be frequently updated to keep pace with who endorses and who doesn't.
    • What if a scholar / institution reverts their stance? We'd need to monitor on a frequent basis.
    • An individual who resides in Texas, USA may not care whether a scholar / institution in Birmingham, UK has endorsed or not as it's not relevant to him.

Yes and no. Yes we can (and should) have short books on each topic similar to The Truth About a Lie; but if I want to inform your everyday common Muslim who is not familiar with the issues or history (e.g. like a family member, friend, co-worker, etc.), then I don't want to hand him 10 different books. It would be too much to take in, take too long to read and the individual would still not have a big picture / summarized understanding of why they should avoid the Deos. We need one book that summarizes everything (and later on can have more detailed books for those that want to further their understanding on each separate topic).

I personally use TKM as a reference tool on Deos and ignore the content related to Keller (not that it's not needed anymore, it's just that I don't need to re-read it for any purpose as I don't have discussions with people in my circle about Keller). The content on Deos is gold. Pages 67 to 68 and 134 to 148 in particular I've flagged as they are extremely useful. Pages 67 to 68 one can memorize and be able to relay in verbal conversations with people, presenting the Sunni view in an articulate and intelligent manner (i.e. the way our issues with them are categorized - essentials of religion, blasphemy, secondary aqidah issues, etc.). We basically need TKM minus Keller plus updates for latest batch of Deo crooks. This type of single book would have a greater impact on people.

rather, we can write short books dealing with each topic separately. I would also suggest that other brothers who are good at english (written/spoken both) should take initiatives rather than waiting for sidi Abu Hasan. He has several other works pending. I think brother Aqib, Aqdas, Moriarity, Abdal Qadir, Unbeknown, Kattar Sunni can together or individually work on these projects. count me available for proofing etc. sidi AH can supervise us too.

not necessarily; most of the "so-called scholars / islamic institutions who have not endorsed the Fatwa of Husssam ul Haramayn" have spread their wings overseas (notably UK, US); and there are many other newly founded ones all over the world, headed by those who know, and yet pretend not to know or sweep it under the carpet.

the point is that the Hussam ul Haramayn fatwa is applicable not only on the 4 deobandi scoundrels - it is also for those who doubt it; and its basic rules are also applicable on others who commit such blasphemies whether they belong to deobandi school or elsewhere.

in Pakistan, the Ulema of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat (JUP) do not admit anyone into the group until they sign off the document that they attest to the fatwa of Hussam ulHaramayn.
