This is a excellent idea. TKM is certainly a good work. But as earlier mentioned, for those who dont know about Keller a work as described in this thread would be very beneficial.

this would even serve as a slap to the face of keller and minions.

my opinion is to keep it as short as possible - like a quick reference guide... with bite-sized information on each topic (with of course their own scans from their own books) for people to make up their own minds, and avoiding lengthy treatises, analyses, and discussions unless absolutely required. something that would appeal to sheeple and people alike

otherwise it would become a lengthy project and some people do not have a good enough attention span for lengthy books.

    oh and also a

part C - countering of the propaganda section

    with table, for example

    1. they accuse us of saying/doing || Ala Hazrat says

    2. qawwalis || qawwalis are haram

once again, with scans of relevant passages from their books and our books, along with translations

but this would only apply to subcontinentals, and even then mainly only to Urdu speakers as they are the ones most aware of Hussam and also the deobandi manhaj

and this should be at the start, not in an appendix:

an excel table - two columns - showing side by side what they say when they want to dodge a bullet, and what they say when they are within themselves - much like the taqiyya of rafidis. example:

    1. muhannad says || other deobandi literature says

    2. Mawlid permissible || similar to hindu celebrations of birth of xyz

so that the world sees the deobandi farce and lies for what they are. do not include just translations, but rather scans of the urdu text from their own books (like always)

actually come to think of it, such a table could be the main table of contents itself and the rest of the book could be built around it (the third column being page numbers)

and even the filibuster of modern deobandis could be incorporated in such a table

    4. tariq jameel says || deobandi elders say

    5. taqi usmani says || shafi usmani says
very few things on the computer are as effective and beneficial as spreadsheets. so i think.

    ----------

keeping in line with Ala Hazrat's emphasis that it is NOT about niyaz, fatiha, 40'wan, etc fiqh matters that we have a problem with them, but rather about core 3aqaid and usul, the book can be divided into two parts

part A - 3aqaid and usul by ijma3 of Ahlus Sunnah

(matters on which there is no ijma3, and deobandis do not subscribe to our or other valid positions, can be left out; however if they have badmouthed us for not taking their position on a matter of no ijma3, both stances should be presented from the classical works, and then they should be questioned why do they oppose us for taking such a position as it also comes from the masters of the ummah, albeit there being no ijma3 on it)

part B - fiqh differences (if needed)

add to it the names of the so-called scholars / islamic insititutions who have not endorsed the Fatwa of Husssam ul Haramayn, so that the awaam stays away from them.

also include thier contemporary agenda; to infultrate sunni organizations and madrasas and build a presence of trust. Such is the case with local mawlids (in usa) and darul ulooms, as they take advantage of the gullible laymen, and pretentious "students of ilm."

We need a proper scholarly book in English similar to The Killer Mistake, The Preamble to Faith, etc. that summarizes the deviancy and lies of Deobandis.

TKM is an excellent piece of work that captures much, if not all, of the content required; however, it's not something you can hand over to someone if you simply wanted to inform them of the nature of Deobandis (as the book was a response to Keller and not intended to be a primer on Deos).

The book structure can be as follows below (not meant to be comprehensive, just some ideas on what I'd like to see). Note: references to TKM mean TKM minus content related to Keller.
    1. Preface / introduction
    2. Background of divide in sub-continent
      • TKM – pages 65 to 66
    3. Listing of issues upon which Deobandis conflict with Sunnis
      • TKM – pages 67 to 68
      • Update to include instances both past and present that are not covered in TKM e.g.:
        • Anthropomorphism – Tariq Jameel, Fatwa on Darulifta-deoband.org, etc.
        • Culture of disrespect – Junaid Jamshed
    4. Brief examination of issues upon which Deobandis conflict with Sunnis
      • TKM – pages 69 to 91
      • TKM – pages 92 to 122
      • Deobandi point of view
      • Sunni point of view / refutation of Deos
        • Ala Hazrat, sub-continent scholars and non-sub-continent scholars
        • TKM – page 97
        • TKM – pages 123 to 133
      • Update to include contradictory views that present day Deos have with the work of their own akaabir
    5. Fatwas on the Deobandis from Sunni scholars other than Ala Hazrat (pre and post Husam al-Haramayn)
      • Provide a listing and reference
    6. Husam al-Haramayn and the endorsement of scholars of Makkah and Madinah
      • Explanation of what Husam al-Haramayn is
      • Listing of scholars that endorsed it
      • TKM – page 139 to 141
      • TKM – page 146 to 148
    7. Husam al-Haramayn and Muhannad
      • TKM – page 134 to 148
    8. Other Deobandi apologia and their refutations
      • Simply list them out e.g. TKM
    9. An appeal to the reader to use common sense when drawing a conclusion about the Deobandis
      • As the reader to approach their local Deobandi imams and ask if they hold the belief Allah táālā having the power to lie
    10. Conclusion

    Appendices would be as follows:
    1. Timeline of initial conflict
      • TKM – page 81, 94
    2. List of additional references
      • Urdu works
      • English works (Preamble to Faith, TKM, The Truth About a Lie)
    3. Biography of Ala Hazrat (TKM – Appendix A)
    4. Biography of Deobandis
      • TKM – Appendix B
      • Present day Deobandis
    5. Evidence of Deobandi offensive work
      • TKM – Appendix C and D
      • Name and shame the current batch of Deobandi scholars and organizations by providing evidence of their support for deviant beliefs
        • Ebrahim Desai
        • Tariq Jameel
        • ibn Adam al-Kawthari
        • Ashraf Uthmani (wrote foreword for English translation of Muhannad in which they affirm possibility of lying for Allāh táālā)
        • Darulifta-deoband.org
        • Deoband.org
        • Daruliftabirmingham.co.uk
        • Etc.
      • Provide evidence of the current batch's offensive work via:
        • Links to Youtube clips with transcripts and translations
        • Screenshots of websites with their work
        • Scans of other Deobandi books not covered in TKM with transcripts and translations

    Optional appendices:
    1. Apostasy and takfir (TKM – pages 8 to 21)
    2. Blasphemy and Islamic Law (TKM – pages 22 to 40)
    3. Extract from Shifa: Things Deemed Disbelief (TKM – Appendix E)
    4. Extract of Ash’bah: On Apostasy (TKM – Appendix F)
    5. Extract from Shifa: The Seven Cases (TKM – Appendix G)

The audience of this work can be broken down as follows:
    • Non-sub-continent scholars (or scholars that don't know Urdu)
    • Common Sunnis (awaam) living in Western societies that are not aware of the nature of Deobandis
    • Sunnis that are aware of the issues (but will now be armed with an academic book to rely on to refute Deobandis)
    • Deobandi scholars born in Western societies (I think the sub-continent ones are too hard set in their ways to change for this book to have any effect)
    • Sub-continent scholars (or scholars that know Urdu) living in the West that enjoy rubbing shoulders with the Deobandis
