Can anyone please provide the above mentioned fatwa, as the blog is no longer running?
If possible also other available documents against Hamza Yusuf...
some buffoon called "daralhikmah" on that youtube video of hanson says:
that's the same game the deos have been playing!
Shouldn't we be keeping dodgy internet "shaykh" fatwas out even though they may be correct on the odd few occasions? Else some less knowledgeable sunni brother browsing these forums may take them to be an authority as the same site claims to be true followers of the Ahle Sunnah!
The very same eshaykh have given a fatwa against the shariah which most probably has resulted in a man committing zina! http://eshaykh.com/prayer_request/i-want-to-reconcile-with-my-wife-and-save-my-marriage/
Even though the video contains the actual vulgar language of the accursed Dante, it shows the extent to which Hamza Yusuf has gone by stating, amongst many other things, that the actual individuals were not meant.
In effect, Hamza Yusuf is claiming that the insults of Dante do not actualy mean the individuals. Refuge with Allah is sort from such absurdities.
A Video that I found ...........
Any views on this ???

Can you please ask the blogg owner to scan the Arabic document received from the mufti, showing his stamp and signature. People will say anyone can type anything in Arabic and call it a fatwa from a shaykh.
Just to follow the rule that a public wrong should be followed by a public repentance, in light of this fatwa from the scholar Shaykh Mufti Muhammad Darwish I do tawbah from defending Shaykh Hamza for defending Dante.
The question that was posed to the Shaykh.
The question that was sent out to the Ulama will be placed on line soon inshaAllah in Arabic and English.
The fatwa from Damascus, Lebanon and other regions will be placed in due time as well inshaAllah.
Shaykh Muhammad Darwaysh of Aleppo comments on Hamza Yusuf's 'defense' of Dante:
