Indeed an excellent book with lots of quote from Jawahr al Naqi and from works of Shaykh Nimawi. In this book the author has refuted many objections of Imam Ibn abi shaybah (rh) against Imam al azam abu hanifa (rd). Also the discussion under hadith 17 is very interesting where the author has refuted both the objections of wahabis ( la madhabi) of placing hand below navel. First objection: The hadith is not found in Musannaf of Ibn abi shaybah as has been confirmed by Hayat al sindi who wrote that he has seen this hadith in musnnaf of ibn abi shaybah but not with the addition of "taht al surrah'( below the navel) Second objection : In the chain of this hadith Alqama (Rh) narrates from his father , but his sam'at ( audition/ hearing) from him is not estabished. The author has refuted bot the claims and given a very satisfying answer.
The name of the author is Muhaddith Mohammed Sharif Kotli ( Rh). His son's name was Mawlana Noor Mohammed Basheer (Rh) who died recently. His son Prof Mujeeb is alhamdulillah now working on books.
I am talking about all books dealing with those matters of Hanafi fiqh on which the la madhabi wahabbi object. If we can link primary sources it will be easy for those who do research. For example : Al Hujjat ala al madinah by Imam Mohammed bin al hasan al shaybani Rd ( d. 189 AH) . It is online in 4 volumes.
Fiqh al Faqih by Shaykh Muhammad Shareef al Kotli rahimahullahu Ta'ala an excellent book which has taqaareez by Sadr al Shariah Shaykh Amjad 'Ali al A'azami and Sadr al Afaadil Shaykh Sayyid Naeem al Din al Muraadabadi rahimahumAllahu Ta'ala
namaz e hanafi mudallal by mawlana abu'l noor muhammad sharif siyalkoti. i may have got the author's name wrong. i may be mixing him up with his son who passed away recently. anyone who can clarify? the book has the whole hanafi salah with proofs from hadith for each action and also wudu. alaHazrat gave the author the title of faqih e a'zam.
Insha Allah who ever gets some information about works dealing with Hanafi Fiqh , especially the evidence of different practices as per Hanafi fiqh ,please mention in this thread. Insha Allah soon we will have a good collection at one place. A brother suggested me to start this thread. ---- 1. Placing Hand in Salah : Below Navel : A few evidence by Ahnaaf Dirham al-Surrat Fi Wada al-Yadayn Taht al-Surrat By Imam Hashim al Sindhi (Rh)[ died.1174 AH] http://www.mediafire.com/?jalm35lydiph2jo
