Brother you're entitled to be angry at the burning of flags.

At the same time others are entitled to be angry at the burning, torture, rape, murder, looting, etc of our Sunni brothers and sisters who are peacefully protesting.

Even Sheikh Imran Hosein's recent comments on Syria betray a sympathy and understanding of the Syrian people's uprising. The Sheikh was very harsh against the Libyan muslims calling them cattle.

You like burning. I have a suggestion for you and your syrian and libyan protesters. Burn your egos and burn wahhabism and modernism. Look what the shameless rebels in Libya are doing. The ones in tunisia as well. They have declared themselves as 'moderates', while the media like the BBC leave no opportunity labeling them as 'islamists'. Their leaders have fat bellies filled with euros and dollars. The world knows. The so called 'Muslim Brotherhood' in syria with its traitor leader.

This 'arab spring is a hoax.

Brother I wasn't mocking. From what I've read on the internet you were right about it being wrong to burn the Iranian flag. One way around this is as suggested in my previous post.

What the Iranians are allegedly doing supporting this vile regime is provocative.

Btw the Russian and Chinese flags are also being burned.

If they wish to burn the Iranaian flag they should first carefully remove (cut out) the section with Allah's name on it. Alternatively they can print a version of the flag without the name of Allah on it and burn this instead. Perhaps they are already doing so.

This is how the kafir european christian white racist talks when mentioned the onslaught of the Mighty Ottomans over them in the past.

The shameless rebels can burn an effigy of their father Gaddafi all I care. Leave the green flag alone, as it is a historic Islamic flag connected to our Habeeb SalAllahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam and our Chaar Khulafa Rashideen raDyAllahu 'anhum ajma'een.

The rebel libyan flag is a shaytaan flag, designed by the imperialists. Just like all the fake arab flags.

The Gaddafi flag was entirely green, which is a historic Islamic flag hijacked by Gaddafi.

The syrian protestors will pay for giving disrespect to the name of Allah ta'ala on the Iranian flag. Shame on them and may their faces become filled with dirt.

What do people make of this article by Sheikh Imran Hussein?

Lessons from Nato's attack on Libya.
    Fri 03 Shawwal 1432

Despite his faults and eccentricities, this much we can say with confidence about Moammar Gadhafi that so long as he ruled over Libya he would never have permitted a NATO military presence in that country. It follows that so long as he ruled over Libya NATO could never launch an attack on Egypt with ground troops pouring into Egypt from across the Libyan border.

Thanks to the cattle, such an attack on Egypt is now possible. It is time therefore for every Egyptian to be armed - as every Venezuelan is armed - in preparation for what can now be clearly seen in the horizon.

I doubt the intention of Gaddafi's green flag had anything to do with The Prophet SalAllahu 'alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam. We also have the Green Square in Tripoli and the green book.

Isnt it like when the Quran was being compiled and unofficial copies were all burnt? (This argument also deals with burning of Iranian flag.)

There are 2 flags Gaddafi's green one and the victorious rebel flag (also partly green) with the crescent and star. Surely you cant have 2 flags just like you cannot have 2 leaders hence the destruction of the Gaddafi flag. This flag represented Gaddafi's dictatorship and brutality and that is what was being destroyed. Not any connection to Nabi Kareem SalAllahu 'alayhi wa aalihi was asalam.

What would the Ulema say about burning the Iranian flag? In Syria protestors have been burning the Iranian flag which carries the name of Allah (Subhanahu Wata Ala) out of anger at the alleged Iranian and Hezbollah support of the Assad regime.

I share their anger and have cheered their burning of the Iranian flag. (?)

Sorry, I meant to say shameless group.

The green flag is our flag. It is a historic flag connected with out Habeeb SalAllahu 'alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam. It should be respected because we love our Habeeb SallAllahu 'alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam. It does not matter if Gaddafi painted his book green.

The truth is, both Gaddafi and the rebels are shayateen. It is well known what Gaddafi did with the Sunni Sanusis, while claiming to be a sufi??

This is very likely, but We dont need the internet, as we have hundreds of thousands of libyans outside libya to know about the reality on the ground.

The truth on the ground is that most libyans in the east of the country, hate Gaddafi. And then you must add to them those who hate him in the west. But this does not necessarily mean they love NATO either. But the majority is not protesting against NATO. The reality is that these libyans have been misled by yahood, just like all the other arab revolutions. Among the top rebel commanders include modernist wahabis and ikhwanis, old friends of the yahood.

I am calling them misled. The evidence is that the libyan rebels were burning the green flag of Libya. They are such a shameful group. They had no respect for the green flag, which is a sacred flag, green being the colour of the Maqam of our Master salAllahu alaihi wa alihi wa sallam.

Since last 5 months Libya is cut off from Internet.
We all know and believe only that which is shown to us through T.V and printing media. It is known 97% of the media is controlled by the Jew.

    http://sunniport.com/masabih/showthread.php?t=8430

So it is possible that in the coming weeks we might find out that more Libyans are supporting Gaddafi and only a handful of them are supported by NATO.
Also, even before the rebels came into power their bank was already established. US and Europe does not want that Bank system to go out of their control. Jews control it.

Gadaffai organized two world conferences called World Mathaba Conference, in 1986 and 2000.

The main focus of this conference was

Opposition to a proposed international criminal court
Opposition to a ban on antipersonnel mines
A call to participants to pull out of the World Bank and create a bank for the Third World
A proposal for a regional summit to end the conflicts in the Great Lakes region

More about this can be read here [ Last updated 15 Sep 2000]

    And it has happened before.

Gaddafi is no saint. We all know he used to travel with so many women. But this is a political talk.

    ----

Does any one know how mich Libya owed to the World Bank before it was attacked?

    ----

I can see a few similarity between Iraq attack and Libya attack.

First, in both the cases the rulers wanted to start a new currency or wanted to stop trading in Dollar.

Second, neither Iraq attack nor Libya attack was sanctioned by UN which is a body formed by the independent countries.

Third, both the attacks were headed by US along with NATO, a group of leading countries, with no sanction from UN

Fourth, in both the cases muslims were killed.

Scramble for oil has already begun

Houston: The fighting is not yet over in Tripoli, but the scramble to secure access to Libya’s oil wealth has already begun.

Before the rebellion broke out in February, Libya exported 1.3 million barrels of oil a day. While that is less than 2% of world supplies, only a few other countries can supply equivalent grades of the sweet crude oil that many refineries around the world depend on. The resumption of Libyan production would help drive down oil prices in Europe, and indirectly, gasoline prices on the East Coast of the US.

Western nations — especially the Nato countries that provided crucial air support to the rebels — want to make sure their companies are in prime position to pump the Libyan crude.
Italian foreign minister Franco Frattini said on state TV on Monday that the Italian oil company Eni “will have a No 1 role in the future” in the North African country.

It is unclear whether a rebel government would honor the contracts struck by the Gaddafi regime or what approach it would take in negotiating new production-sharing agreements with companies willing to invest in established oil fields and explore for new ones. Even before taking power, the rebels suggested that they would remember their friends and foes and negotiate deals accordingly.

“We don’t have a problem with Western countries like Italians, French and UK companies,” Abdeljalil Mayouf, a spokesman for the Libyan rebel oil company Agoco, said. “But we may have some political issues with Russia, China and Brazil.” Russia, China and Brazil did not back strong sanctions on the Gaddafi regime.

    The Other view

1.The situation in Libya was tailor-made for Washington to pursue its long-term military and strategic agenda on the African continent. One of the major goals of the U.S. African Command (Africom), currently headquartered in Germany, includes combating the growing Chinese influence on the continent. China was emerging as one of Libya's key energy partners.

2.The Western military intervention also coincided with the Libyan government's championing of an African Union (A.U.) that would not be influenced by either the E.U. or Washington. Qaddafi was the strongest proponent of a separate currency for the continent that would replace the dollar and the euro.

(Afghanistan was attacked for two main reasons. First, afghanis were also against using US dollar for trade, second , the rich oil and gas reservoir in the central asia.)

    .“Responsibility to protect”

INTERNATIONAL Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo's request, in the third week of May, to issue arrest warrants against Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, his son Saif al Qaddafi and Libyan intelligence chief Abdullah al Sanussi, even as North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) warplanes were wreaking havoc on the country, is yet another illustration of the double standards adopted by the West.

The ICC seems to be specialising in targeting African leaders and heads of state. There already is an ICC warrant of arrest against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. Now that the West's goal of dividing Sudan has been achieved, the ICC seems to be in no hurry to execute the warrant.

The major countries of the world, such as the U.S., Russia, China and India, are not members of the ICC and reject any accountability regarding its actions. Libya, too, is not a member and has said that it is not answerable to the diktats of Moreno. The ICC is increasingly being used as a tool by the West in its bid to re-establish the neocolonial hold over Africa's huge natural resources.

libyans are reporting that Gaddafi has killed thousands of innocent civilians in all cities except the eastern-most. My opinion is that Gaddafi has killed more than 10,000 mostly innocent libyan civilians besides those civilians who are now rebels. While the west bombs libya, its killing even more libyan civilians.

  20. I read it all! A hotch-potch of ideas including Nasibism (astaghfirullah he calls imam hussain a rebel and says he died as one. la hawla wa la quwwata ilah billah) with a veneer of academia and in the guise of (false) Sufism. ("I am a Sufi").
I think he is saying that the USA is behind the Shia uprising in Bahrain and hopes to defeat real Islam by encouraging the spread of such ideology in the region. Lots of anti-Shia diatribe. some interesting historical anecdotes and facts. all mixed together into a whole mess.

    keep away.
