Interesting............have never given it any thought. Suppose it's a bit like the spelling of Muhammad (salallahu alaihi wasallam)and its variations........one just automatically knows who is being spoken about/referred to. i have never understood why it is hussain. am i missing something? surely, it is either husain or husayn.
