    Let not rest
    Your pining heart
    Night is falling
But 'tis not the journey's end
    Sleep not now
But call out to the One(peace be upon him) who rests
    In that most venerable tomb
    Across the distant shore

    Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
    Soon you will see
All of your hopes will come to pass
Safe in the shade of its hallowed walls
    You're only waiting

    What can you see
    On the horizon?
    Where do the angles alight?
    Across the sea
    A full moon rises,
The ships shall come to bear you
    To the City of Light

    And all will turn
    To glittering sand
    Bright too are the flowers
which bloom in that blessed land

    Hope rises
    Into the world of light
    Through stars shining
Speaking of his (peace be upon him) generosity
Don't say: «I have come now to the end»
    White shores are calling
You shall be there once again

And you'll be in the same comforting shade
Between the mausoleum of light and the puplit bright

    And all will turn
    To glittering sand
    Belighting the blessed land
    Behold! Grey ships pass
    Into the West

    "Into The West"

    Let not rest
    Your weary heart

But to dream of the One(peace be upon him) who rests
    In that venerable tomb
    Across the distant shore

    Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
    Soon you will see
All of your fears will pass away
    Safe in its shade
    You're only waiting

And you'll be in the same comforting shade

    And all will turn
    To glittering sand
    Belighting the blessed land
Wake up now! Grey ships pass
    Into the West

(my version of this song. Written for an aspirer to al-madinah al-munawwarah who has come to see off the pilgrims. inspired by the incident of alahazrat 'alayhirrahmah's second hajj.)

    jazakAllah.
    wassalaam.
