He retracts antroporphic believe and says it's kufr in his commentary of Aqidah tahawiya...although I think he mis- translated Tashbih as Anthropomorphism when tajsim is anthropomorphism
In all honesty, all the points brought up in both sources all seem to be among the domain of scholastic dispute, I am not endorsing him but clearly through "his ijtihad (I'm using this term loosely) be it weak according to our pious predecessors and majority of ahlul sunnah, along with his other historical depiction of ummayad (post khilafat rashida till and including the Abbasid)anti-ahlul bayt agenda, that is something agreeable and open to interpretation.
I remember there being an meeting in South Africa upon Sh Ninowy's visit(posted here ~ but please correct me if I'm wrong), where The Scholars of Ahlul Sunnah discoursed and Sh Ninowy retracted/repented from the problematic beliefs And this assembly was dates recently (much later than these sources mentioned by our brothers here).
What i'm saying is the methodology of digging in the past history and statements of people and incorrect belief, pre-repentance, is not an appropriate methodology to adhere to, everyone deserve a chance of a clean slate, and the mercy of the Prophet ﷺ is embodied by Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jama'at.
This is neither an endorsement, nor a vindication of this scholar in specific, rather my comment on the bleakness of comments made out of the zeal and mahabbah of Ahlul Sunnah, but this approach is acceptable/understandable from qualified individuals (the ulama and advance students knowledge here), but detrimental and disconnected with the demeanor of students of Ahlul Sunnah, more specifically those who claim to be on a path of tariqah or tasawwuf.

Hafiz Ahmed khateeb in Jhb has corrupted many Sunni families in theSandton area. His influence has caused some Sunni families to become the mureeds of a hidden shia sheikh ninowy. He leads Salah in a Sunni jamaat khana in sandton , destroying the Salaah of true Sunni Muslims. One of their brothers was recently moving around with tahirul padari's son, doing his bit to corrupt the Aqeeda of theSunnis in Durban, as his brothers have done in Cape Town and Jhb. Their grand father Moulana khateeb took Sunni children and sent them to deoband to study. Perhaps this is why the khateeb family is like this.
A branch of Darul Uloom Pretoria in Cape Town running under the supervision of the Ziaee brothers (CTIEC) is also playing an active role to corrupt Sunniyyat. They collect Zakaat, Lillah and Fitra from Sunnis ( THEY USE THE NAME OF SHAH HASEENUDIN - RAWALPINDI) but entertain tahirul qadiri's, Sh ninowy's and the ignorant sheikh owaisi missions.THEY ALSO OPENLY SUPPORT PADRI EVENTS ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SON OF TAGHOOT/PADRI CAME TO VISIT SOUTH AFRICA!
Sunni Muslims are requested to stay far away from mufti monkey, shake ninowy, shake owaisi and their facilitators and supporters like the khateeb brothers, CTIEC and some businessmen from PTA and Jhb who were Sunnis but are now funding corruption. Safeguard your Imaan. Do not follow attention seekers, the rich and the arrogant. Remain steadfast on the pure Aqeeda of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaat.

“The refuter of Imāmah of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr (may Almighty Allah be pleased with him) is a Kāfir, and according to the sayings of some theologian, he is a Badmazhab not a Kāfir. And the correct verdict is that he is a Kāfir. Similarly, according to the most correct verdict, the refuter of the Khilāfah of Sayyidunā ‘Umar Farūq is also a Kāfir.

“If someone denies any of the necessities of the religion, then he is Kāfir (disbeliever). For instance, to say that Almighty Allah is like the physical bodies, or to refuse the companionship of Sayyidunā Siddīq.”

It is stated:
“(وكذااختلافته) similarly, the refusal of his Khilāfah is also Kufr (disbelief)”.

“If a Raafzee perceives Sayyidunā ‘Alī superior than all companions (may Almighty Allah be pleased with them), then he is innovator and deviant and if he is the denier of Khilafat of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr, May Almighty Allah be pleased with him, then he is Kafir.”

It is mentioned:
“Amongst the Rawāfiḍ, if there is someone who says that Sayyidunā ‘Alī is superior to the three Caliphs, he is a deviant. And if he refuses the Khilāfah of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq and Sayyidunā ‘Umar Farooq (may Almighty Allah be pleased with them) then he is a Kāfir.”

It is also stated:
(من انكر خلافۃ ابى بكررضى الله تعالٰى عنه فهو كافر فى الصحيح و من انكر خلافۃ عمررضى الله تعالٰى عنه فهو كافر فى الاصلاح)
“The refuter of Khilāfah of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr (may Almighty Allah be pleased with him) is a Kāfir. This is the correct verdict. And the refuter of the Khilāfah of Sayyidunā ‘Umar Farūq (may Almighty Allah be pleased with him) is also a Kāfir. This is the most correct judgment.”

Nawaz what do you make of Abdul Qadir Shahs comments on Sayyidina Abu Bakr (RadiAllahu anhu)
i don't remember reading anywhere regarding denial of KHILAFAT of Saykhayn radi Allahu 3anhuma,
but denial of Sayyidina Abu Bakr's SAHABI STATUS makes one a kafir. there is ijma3 of the Ahlus Sunnah upon this.
likewise, i'm not sure of the Mutakallimeen's ruling, but the Hanafi (and other) Fuqahaa's ruling is that disparaging and cussing the Shaykhayn (even if stopping short of takfeer) makes one a kafir and a murtad.
Allama Shami says in Radd al-Muhtar:
أَقُولُ : نَعَمْ نَقَلَ فِي الْبَزَّازِيَّةِ عَنْ الْخُلَاصَةِ أَنَّ الرَّافِضِيَّ إذَا كَانَ يَسُبُّ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَيَلْعَنُهُمَا فَهُوَ كَافِرٌ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يُفَضِّلُ عَلِيًّا عَلَيْهِمَا فَهُوَ مُبْتَدِعٌ

However there is difference amongst the jurist and mutakallimeen,
Allama Subki has mentioned that to believe in the khilafat of Hadrat Abu Bakr RadiAllahu Anhu is one of the Darooriyat e Deen,,,And the denier of any of Darooriyat e Deen is Kaafir.
If the cause of an innovator's dissent from Ahl as-Sunnat is his belief in the superiority of 'Ali over Abu Bakr and 'Umar (radi-Allahu 'anhum), he is of ahl al-bidat as it is written in Hulasa, Hindiyya and many other invaluable books. The one who does not believe in the khilafat (caliphate) of one or both of the latter two caliphs was said to be a kafir by the 'ulama' of fiqh and to be a man of bidat by the 'ulama' of kalam. For the sake of precaution, the term 'man of bidat' should be used for them. One absolutely becomes a kafir if says that Allahu ta'ala is a creature, or that the present Qur'an al-karim is deficient and contains alterations of as-Sahabat al-kiram and of later times, or that 'Ali (radi-Allahu 'anh) or one of the Twelve Imams is superior to prophets. It is written in Hindiyya, Zahiriyya, Al-Hadiqat an-nadiyya and in fiqh books that he will be treated as a murtad. There is detailed information on this subject in the book Makalat al-mufassira an ahkami 'l-bidati 'l-mukaffira

6: Sheikh Ninowy: I do not regard the person who denies the Imamat or Khilafat of Shaikhain (Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar) as Kaafir because there is Ikhtilaaf (deference of opinion) amongst Ulama on this issue and I follow the opinion that doesn’t regard them as Kaafir. Sunni Belief: Such a person is Kaafir, as mentioned in “Raddur Rafadah” by Shaikhul Islam Wal Muslimeen Sayyiduna A’la Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan
On the contrary Alahazrat believed that those who deny khilafat e rashida are indeed sinners but are NOT kafirs.
Here is what alahazrat says in fatawa rizviyya: ahle tehqiq ke nazdeeq khilafat e rashida ka inkaar karne wala bhi kafir nahin hai
which means that according to ahl al-tahqiq i.e aqeeda scholars, those deny khilafat e rashida will not be considerd kafirs!
and in his radd al-rafida he says:
Alahazrat says that they are misguided and deserving of hell fire but my believe is that those who deny khilafat e rashida are not kafirs and this the correct opinion.
