Shaykh junaid al baghdadi did denounce mansur al Hallaj but only because in Islam, the fatwa has to be given from the apparent. I have heard that whilst writing the death sentence, shaykh junaid was crying as he knew the spiritual state of mansur al Hallaj.

I was recently reading a post on a Salafi website and they said: Is there any authentic proof that Shaykh Junayd al-baghdadi Rahimahullah denounced Shaykh Mansur al-Hallaj Rahimahullah ?
