I just came across another similer Hadith in Ibn Kathir's Tafsir of Surah 7 Verse 158.

Al-Bukhari recorded it. Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn `Abbas said that the Messenger of Allah said,

(I have been given five things which were not given to any Prophet before me, and I do not say it out of pride. I was sent to all mankind (their) black and white alike. Allah made me victorious by fright, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. The spoils of war are lawful for me, yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform purification with. I have been given the Shafa'ah (right of intercession), and I saved it for my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore, the Shafa'ah will reach those who associate none with Allah in worship.) This Hadith's chain of narration is suitable, but the Two Sahihs did not record it.

Further on when explaining this Ayah Ibn Kathir says the following,

"There are many other Ayat and more Hadiths than can be counted on this subject. It is also well-known in our religion that the Messenger of Allah was sent to all mankind and the Jinns"

    Masha'allah

I think that "Wa Ana Awwalul Muslimeen" is along with those Hadiths is enough proof that the Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] is the first of those who bow down to Allah's will and according to Imam Ibn Hajar he is the Prophet of even the non living things which suggests he is the first of creation!

I realy think it is a great favour from Allah that we have a Brother like Abu Hassan available on forums.

There is another Hadith that i needed a ref for:

"Wallahi ma khafu minkum a’n thushriku mim ba’adhi” [Bukhari]

mulla ali al-qari in mirqat, the explanation of mishkat says under the hadith: 5748

    [....wa ursiltu ila'l khalqi kaaffah]

that is, the entire creation encompassing jinn and men and angels and animals and non-living things as i have explained in [my book] as-salawat al-`aliyyah `ala as-salawat al-muHammadiyyah.

in another Hadith found in both bukhari and muslim:

'....and earlier prophets were sent specifically to their own communities, and I was sent [as a messenger] to all peoples'

    wa kana an-nabiyyu yub`athu ilaa qawmihi khassatan wa bu`yith-tu ila'n naasi `ammah.

    muslim 521; bukhari 335, 438, 3122

the wording of muslim is: 'i was sent to all people red and black' /ila kulli aHmar wa aswad.

    imam nawawi in its explanation: it is said that 'red' indicates [ruddy] white among the non-arabs; 'black' are the arabs because a majority [among arabs] is dark-skinned [ghalabati'l sumratu fihim] and the people from sudan;

it is said that 'black' refers to the people of sudan [or africans] and 'red' are people other than them among arabs and non-arabs

some said: red refers to men and black refers to jinn

all of these descriptions are correct because he was sent forth to all of them.

So the Literal Meaning is I have been sent to the entire creation?

Do you think this Hadith can be used as Proof that all the Prophets, Angels, Jinns are from the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him]?

I ask this because of the Quran Ayah where Allah tells the Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] to say "I am the first among the Muslims" and also the ayahs that say Ibrahim, Ismail and other prophets are Muslims.

So if they are Muslims and the Prophet is the first Muslim that is proof that the Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] was created before them, but the Salafis claim that the tafsirs [which i have checked] state that The Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] is the first among his Ummah, but with this Hadith it could be said that all the Prophets are from the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] thus him being the first of his Ummah is him being the first among the Prophets, Jinns, Angels and so on.

Are there any other proofs to suggest that All creation is Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him?

Jazakallah Abul Hasan for your help, May Allah Reward you.

There is supposed to be a Hadith in Sahih Muslim with states:

    "Usirl thu ilal Khalqi Kaafa"

"I am the Prophet of all Creation" or "All Creation is my Ummah"

I heard Allahmah Saeed Asad quoting it but I really need the reference of the Hadith if anyone knows or can find it I will be very grateful.
