jazakumAllahu khayran I have made some amendments to the translation let me know if there are any issues. was-salam
JZK Bro AH for that clarification, as I had read this article a few times to ensure what I had understood was correct. May Allah SWT bless you.
my attempt at translation of the last para: as for calling upon (du'a) any among the creation: if such calling (nidaa) is not accompanied with the belief that the person is a god (or attributes of god in that person), nor that (such called-upon) has absolute dispensation without the leave of Allah, then such a 'calling' is mentioned in the saying of Allah ta'ala do not make the calling of the Messenger amongst yourselves, like ye call one another. there is no problem with it and no rejection (of such calling). if the calling is accompanied by things like those mentioned (above), then as it is well known, it takes one out of the reality of belief in Allah ta'ala, the Only God who has no partner. ---------------- the above is a close literal translation; but rephrasing the habib: if you call on someone with the belief that they are god (or have a divine attribute) or that they can help/do anything absolutely on their own, without the leave of Allah ta'ala, then it is shirk as is obvious. however, if you call upon them without the above belief, and rather with the belief that they are creation and that whatever they do is only by the leave of Allah ta'ala, then there is no blame. Allah ta'ala knows best.
