Today many apps, including WhatsApp also have end to end encryption[1]. This gives us a level of certainty that the person we are talking to is really them [2], with no one listening in. In many cases, there are ways to ensure this using similar and other types of encryption. Traditionally, testimony over the phone and telegrams wasn't accepted due to reliability. What about today when we have more surety of who is calling? Emails? WhatsApp?
