    translation in ye olde english:

my eye hath not beholden any nobler than thee
woman did not mother any more beauteous than thee

thine creation did not admit any trace of imperfection
as if thou wert created, just as it pleased thee

    O Illuminator of the worlds!
how can thine splendor be touched
    by the enemies' petty assays
when even the sun doth not suffer
    the fellowship of lesser lights!

    constructive criticism welcomed.

aur haseen tumsa dunya ne na dekha, Ya rasulAllah
kisi aagoshe madar me na hoga, Ya rasulAllah

aur Musawwir ne tumhe ayesa banaya, Ya rasulAllah
goya tumhi se poochh kar tumko banaya, Ya rasulAllah

this translation is probably by khalifa-e-taaj al shari'ah mawlana ahmed raza al-kuwari al-shafi'i

He recites it alongwith the arabic lines in a very soothing and melodious voice. Listening to it on a wintery night with eyes shut is a wonderfully mesmerising experience.

My eyes have not seen a person better than you,
No woman ever gave birth to a person more beautiful than you!

You were created flawless, without the slightest blemish,
It seems you were created according to your wish!

    Assalam Alaykum,

The meaning of the couplets which you mentioned are as follows:

wa ahsanu minka lam thara qatun Aini
    wa ajmalu minka talidin nisa’

Meri aankh ne tujhse zyada khubsurat shakhs nahi dekha
Tujhse zyada sahibe jamal kabhi kisi aurat ne nahi jana

khuliqta mubarra an min kulli aibin
ka annaka qad khuliqta kama tashaa'

Aap har 'aib se is tarah paak aur saaf hai
Jaise aap apni marzi aur pasand se paida hue hain
  7. i would also liek these translated please into urdu, also if anyone would like to give a brief explanation of this last one InshaAllah.

    Tarahhala ‘an qawmin faddalat ‘uqulahum
Wa halla ‘ala qawmin bi nurrin mujaddadi

He left a people who preferred their minds over Him
And He dawned on a people with a light made new

Mata yabdu fi ad-daji al-bahimi jabinuhu
    Yaluhu mithla misbahi al-duja al-mutawaqqidi

Whenever his forehead emerged in pitch-black darkness
It would shine like the blazing luminary of dark night*

-Hasan Bin Thabit (May Allah be well pleased with him)

p.s im sorry for trabsliteration i dont have arabic text.

  8. Follwing are some of the best known couplets from the beautiful Poetry of Hassan bin Thabit RadiAllahu anh, a great poet of the Holy Prophet Salallahualayhiwaalihiwasallam

My eyes have not seen more beautiful person than you
No women has given birth to a more beautiful person than you
You have been created without any weakness and blemish
As if you have been created as you wished to be created

wa ahsanu minka lam thara qatun Aini
    wa ajmalu minka talidin nisa’

khuliqta mubarra an min kulli aibin
ka annaka qad khuliqta kama tashaa"

    ‘I could not praise Muhammad with my words;
my words were made praiseworthy by Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).’

i'd like to know if anyone can translate the meanings of these two beautiful couplets into urdu for me, please...

    JazakAlah in advance.
