    From Shaykh Murabit's fatwa:

Those non-mainstream opinions are those verdicts which are from out of the four schools of thought.
For instance, all the schools agree that an apostate is killed after a trial and cot proceedings. Now ijma' has formed over the four schools. Any one who takes a position out of orthodoxy is a deviant.

There is an opinion that a man who drinks the milk of a woman becomes her mahram. The four schools have agreed against that opinion. The four schools set an age limit on suckling. If any one takes a divergent view on this issue today he has deviated fr ahl alsunna waljama'ah.

This is also the fatwa of Shaykh Murabit alHajj (Allah preserve him):

  5. Brother, I did what you said and listened from 54 to 58 minutes and I didn't hear anything strange! All he said was that there are a lot of opinions in our Islamic tradition which people aren't aware of and we have to bring forth these opinions with specific regard to apostasy. He mentioned some scholar who said that to apostasise was not punishable by death...
And he said Islam is less amenable to reformation than other religions.

What's your point? Are you saying he is trying to take non-mainstream views from past scholars and make them mainstream?

no it's not brother. read the rest of my post. there's a PATTERN to this man. it's not a one off coincidence.

notwithstanding all his other 'we'll do and say anything to make kafirs happy' friends and associates like tim winters, fraud rabbani, gibril, kabbani, nazim etc. and/or like-minded agents working for the same cause like qardinul tahir

  8. that's stetching it a bit, no?

that said, the very least this demonstrates is that there are more secure places to take our din from.

since mark hanson is his friend, it means mark hanson too is a part of this group that aims to denigrate and undermine islam. mark hanson was also an advisor to george bush before he launched the iraq and afghan war offensives. his mockery of islam and love for the kuffar is coming to surface more and more day by day. all of these can't just be coincidences. he is very firmly and steadily proving his status as an enemy of Allah and His Rasool, sal Allahu 3alayhi wa sallam. may Allah give him what is due for His & His Rasool's enemies.

    From his 'Q News' article:

    Two questions:

1 Who were Martin Lings' teachers?

2 What did Fazlur Rahman entertain in his book?

Is this a fundamental article of faith, from the same article:

Personally I've never considered Hamza and Tahir as 'our' scholars. I follow simple Ulama, like our village Imam, and advanced Ulama like Allama Ata Muhammad Bandyalwi rahimahuAllah, amongst many others.
