the respected Shaykh was one of the prominent guests of Mufti Akhtar Rida Khan at last year's urs-e-Razvi in Bareilly. He was one of those who concluded the event by addressing those present. from my understanding their personal relationship goes back to the early 80's when Mufti Akhtar Rida journeyed to meet with the scholars of the southern regions. if I am not mistaken, I do think that there is some sort of student exchange programme that they worked on. I was in Bareilly a few years ago and I witnessed first hand streams of students from Kerala beginning certain kitabs under Taj al-Shari'ah. I remember it very vividly for it was in Winter (Bareilly Winters are extremely cold) and Taj al-Shari'ah was unwell and could not even travel (to the teaching rooms) but he insisted on the classes being carried out. it was after the Isha salah that he arranged for meals for the students and it was amazing watching the Shaykh teach from his bedroom that he opened to all of the students from Kerala until the late parts of the night. this went on for many nights in the same manner.

wa 'alaykum as salam Sidi abu Nibras

I am fine, was busy with my final exams, that ended last week alHamduLilAllah.

I feel as if a mountain has been removed from my shoulders only to realize there is another mountain which I realized to be my responsibility to Allah ta'ala; and this makes me want that if only I could not make this as a mountain like that mountain that was removed, I felt ashamed.

My Budhist friend from Sri Lanka, Sameera Madagammadegadera, told me that life is suffering. But why would I call my debt to Allah ta'ala as suffering? alHamduLilAllah I want to fulfill my vicegerency

InshaAllah, I am planning to go to the USA this summer to visit my aunt who lives in Maryland, and other relations in New Jersey. She is a widow with two daughters.

Habib 'Umar is sitting on the table with Shaykh Abu Bakr as well.

May Allah ta'ala preserve the Sunni Muslims of Kerala and keep them in domination there as ever!
