The question is, does Shaykh Imran's opinion contradict the Ahle Sunnah opinion on this matter? From my understanding there were a number of significant scholars such Imam Nawawi who held the same opinion as Shaykh Imran Hosein on this matter. Can someone more learned confirm this and provide and unbiased summary of the Ahle Sunnah opinion on this matter.
