He's the second person I've seen who's made a mark in technology on sheer talent i.e without pursuing formal education. The other one's Julian Assange(!). Of course there may be many more.

Didn't Eienstien say : It's a miracle that curiosity survives formal education. ?

Don't most inventions and discoveries owe a great deal to dreams and sudden inspirations?

Then there's Mendeleev who, according to my grade X textbook, dreamt that he was arranging elements in the order of increasing atomic weights and did just that to get a first of its kind arrangement of all known elements.

    Can these be called Ilham?

And for J.K Rowling: "Potter walked fully formed into my mind".

But in such cases, where kufriyat are involved, in can't be Ilham. Devil's handiwork, more like.

Just like the phenomenal Mathematician from India, Srinivasa Ramanujan:

    Wallahua'lam.

Please don't get me wrong. I just want to be on the safe side so I warn the less-cautious ones : Just listen to the audio. Don't look at the video as there're lots of skimpily dressed females amongst the listeners.
