What some people fail to realise is that being a Muslim involves all aspects of living in this world and not just the theological bubble that some of us make out Islam to be. It's a complete way of life where all aspects of humanity at all levels social, political, economic is included and oh yeah by the way it's progressive and moves with the times there's nothing static about my Islam as certain people like to tell me. Yanabi.com understands this and tries to reflect this dealing and discussing issues that are not simply theology related.

Why do we pretend that Islam is just about rules and regulations, halal/haram when we reply to posts on a portal but in our everyday lives we choose to compromise or don't even consider what our religion says?

The hatred that site has against scholars of the Ahle Sunnah is abhorent. It seems they think a Muslim Portal should be about proving others being misguided or non-muslims their slogan reads 'one of the Leading Sunni Websites refuting Deviants.' Just like on the street certain people believe it should be their mission to prove others. First of all, the level of hatred is quite disturbing and by reading some of the posts it seems it's reaching a point where certain followers may resort to physical violence (I sometimes wonder how old these kids are). What is the point of the website do they think they will win over the scholars/public by refuting them on a website in that hate-filled manner it certainly doesn't make itself attractive to the so-called 'deviators' I see no sincerity. There's a method and style of approaching others when you seek to correct them and they certainly haven't learned one of the basics 'adab' they could learn a lot by following Professor Masood Ahmed Khan Rizvi. There's a long list of scholars who have been quite frankly defamed and slandered which would leave you thinking that there only a few Muslims left on this planet!

Firstly, I sometimes don't agree with some of the posts or comments on the site but that is the beauty of being a member of an honest and just community. They allow everyone to share their comments as long as they're not foul-mouthed. The focus of the website is solely to make us better Muslims and to attract non-Muslims to the site the academic level of discussions in my opinion cannot be found elsewhere. Islam isn't just about refutation you know, we are allowed to question practices in order to gain a better understanding of what we do and why we do it. You know I was once what you would call a typical 'Sunnitalk' user but Yanabi.com opened my eyes and reflected to me the insular views that I held hence my username. We are all too busy proving others are not sunni whilst we never think to look at ourselves. You will see people from all ages, backgrounds, knowledge, countries participating and long may it continue, if you don't like what you see you can create a post/topic and discuss it without any hesitation as long as you adhere to fair play.

Sorry Chisti Brother, the site was too slow because of the forum, they will be moving to Vbulliten now INSHALLAH, they are transferring old posts which is taking sometime but it will be back soon INSHALLAH and after Vbulliten forum, I don't think they will have much problems again.

As for Dr Sahib and Minhaj ul Quran, Shah Sahib is saying what he has to say about him on TV and in his speeches. Why doesn't the Minhaj ul Quran lot go and speak to Shah Sahib face to face rather begging authorites to ban Shah Sahib?

Pir Auladdin Siddiqui Sahib called Shah Sahib in their Noor TV Birthday ceremony and Shah Sahib went and said what they had to say, also said he is willing to have a friendly conversation with the Ulema their if they differ with what Shah Sahib said!

The Mufti Sahib sitting in Shah Sahibs Mehfil which you can see is, Mufti Fazle Subhani Sahib, who use to give Dars e Fiqah on DM Sunni TV!

Why is he presiding this gathering where Syed Irfan Shah Sahib are the guest speaker, if Mufti Sahib believe Shah Sahib is from the Khawarij MAZALLAH ASTAGFIRULLAH!

Also for Brother Jasim, just to let you know Sunni DM TV has stopped its telecast, the real aim of Sunni DM TV was to promote Pir Abdul Qadir Jillani Sahibs book and his view on the Afzaliyat issue. If anyone watched the telecast their, Afzaliyat would always be their main topic, Pir Abdul Qadir Jillani Shah Sahibs book opening ceremony and the Q And A Session (questions chosen by their ulema) has been repeated about 20 times on that channel. As soon as they believed they have promoted the book enough they have finished their contract with Dr Malik.

Pir Abdul Qadir Jillani Sahibs mureeds are calling in daily now at Ummah Channel asking them to broadcast their Pir Sahibs speeches their!

Also Brother Naqshbandi, the ban on Shah Sahib in pakistan was just at Jelum and Hafizabaad. Anyone can get this confirmed by any Sunni Scholar in Pakistan that their was not one day free for Shah Sahib, he had speeches everyday during his visit in Pakistan at different locations.

 

Abu Fadl, no need to repeat what Zahid Shah said at Abdul Qadir Shah's recent Gyarween Sharif. The Tafzilis of Yanafi are worst than what peaople think they are closet Rafizis.

I thought Ulamaa had changed their opinion on Prof. Tahir ul Qadri, especially as he is been defended by Sunni Ulamaa on Takbeer TV - there should be no issue now?

By the way I don't think Mufti Akhtar Raza Qadri Rizvi believes that Pir Allama Maroof Hussain Nushai is a syed either because Ala Hazrat R.A. says that only those from the awlaad of Hz Fatima A.S.are Syeds and Pir Sahib Nushai does not claim to be from awlaad of Hz Fatima R.A. but from another one of the wives. It's probably a Rizvi position hence why all Rizvi Ulama including the above mentioned do not consider him syed.

Does Pir Maroof Hussain Sahib himself even say he is syed? I am not sure if he does, especially considering the fatwa of Ala Hazrat R.A.

2. I was not aware of the public speaking limited ban in Pakistan of Hazrat Shaykh Allamah Pir Sayyid Irfan Shah sahib until now.

3. It is sad that groups like MuQ have to resort to getting corrupt Paki officials
to get him banned when they cannot refute his arguments. It is not hard in Pakistan to pay people to get a ban enacted.

4. It is even sadder to see the Yanabi crew getting so excited about it and so happy that a Sunni scholar and a sayyid has gotten a ban from speaking in public. Then again it is not surprising since many of those people are not Sunnis anyway but Tafzilis and hate anyone who exposes their weird beliefs and the new trick seems to be to label anyone exposing them as an extremist and sectarian!

YANABI is the biggest fitna in Sunnis today, they are attacking Sunni schlor left right centre, there user have more respect for Shia Schlors and why not? Shia schlors speak agaisnt the people who they dont like, e.g Sahabas , Irfan Shah Saab and Sunni Schlors...

As for them being happy about Shah Sahib being banned, as far as Im concerned that means nothing, those bans were till the 24/11/10. Munazir e Islam Peer Syed Irfan Shah Sahib are back in the UK, they arrived yesterday!
