please don't get me wrong, i was not trying to take anything away from mawlana ilyas qadri - he is a lover of alaHazrat which is enough to make him my ideal.

only reason i posted was because i have read elsewhere that other scholars were the founders along with mawlana ilyas. and my brother ahle sunnah has said the same above.

    alHamdulillah.

may Allah grant barakah to mawlana ilyas and the beautiful movement of da'awat e islami. those beautiful green amamahs (or imamahs?) are so widespread that there will not be a gathering of subcontinent ahlu's sunnah in the UK without at least a handful of these brothers present.

There were 13 original founders of this movement including the ones above mentioned,i have sat with and heard this from the mouth of one of the 13 people involved, that being certain mufti sahib i will not name.

They nominated Hadrat Ilyas Qadiri sahib to lead this movement, which he accepted.

Credit where its due,i believe the methods/efforts (after initial help from Moulana Shafi Okarvi sahib letting them use gulzar e habib majid(s) for gatherings)was solely moulana Ilyas Qadiri sahibs.

I think Maulana Shafi Okarvi Rahmatullahi Aley was another patron aswell.

no, I think mawlana ilyas is the founder. ulama you have mentioned only supported this movement.
