    Firaun's Arrogance

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a man of an enslaved race,
that's all the truth I know.
In the guise of a Messenger sent to guide,
    a magician craves my throne,
But I have aides to seek advice,
and charms as strong as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of the Nile's ear,
But now in dust rot his bones,
with no one there to hear.
Yes, now in dust rot his bones,
with not a soul to hear.
