The verse I am talking about is "Qul: Innama ana basharun mithlukum..."

I heard a Shi'i speaker once on one of the Pakistani Islamic channels and he was talking about the miracles of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم so I carried on listening. He said that the unbelievers always had an excuse everytime the Beloved of Allah showed them a miracle (such as 'that is just magic'...etc.) and some of them said that magicians' magic only affects the Earth and not celestial objects so if you can show us a miracle in the sky we will believe you. When the Prophet split the moon asunder some of the unbelievers said that only God can control the sky like that and said to the Prophet "Anta Allah!" at which Allah sent Gabriel :as: down with this verse...

    Is this true?
