Does anyone here know Mawlana Islam of mubarakpur? He's a student of hafiz-e-millat. Used to lead prayers at the asatana of the Makhdum ashraf-e-simnani. Not many people know him for he is not into speeches or teaching.

Great man- uber simple and modest- you wont care to look twice if he passed by - he is short and frail with a voice so soft that you have to strain your ears to listen. But spiritually he is a gaint. He's easily more than 85 years old. And even at this ripe age he's fit as a fiddle.

Brother ghulam. a humble request. could you please remove the above picture. Mawlana Qasim sahib has the same stance as Shaykh ul Islam Mufti Akhtar Raza Khan and Huzur Muhaddith e Kabeer Allamaa Zia ul Mustafa and is against his photos being taken. a little humility and sincerity comes off better than smart comments and sarcasm my brother. attack your fake molvis but leave the sincere ones alone please. thanks bro

 

Akhi why is everyone a mufti and peer in your eyes. I know it's sarcasm but I think it's ran it's course and its become awfully dry.

The scholar you mentioned would cringe at such titles being attributed to him (sarcasm or not).

Unlike many molvis who love the lime light and attention Moulana Qasim sahib doesn't.
He is staunchly against photo and videos so admin can you remove the photo asap.

P.s Peer Ghulam I think your doing a good job exposing the antics of brummie celebrity molvis but dont tar all with the same brush.

good question. Some scholars easily give khilafat very easily and some are stricter and only give to a few people.

i agree with that but sadly, times are very bad and they aint going to get any better.

 

I forgot to mention there is also Qasim e Faizan e Alipur Sharif; Hazrat Allama Pir Mufti Ahmed Zaman Jamati who has done suluk with Mehr e Millat Hazrat Pir Sayyid Munawar Shah Jamati who are the Janasheen of Amir e Millat.

at risk of diverting the thread, i would like to know what qualities does a pir typically look for before granting khilafat? are there any rules that are to be observed or qualifications that an individual should possess in order to take on the responsibility of khilafat?

one thing i think is obvious is that the pir should know a great deal about the person and should have personally observed his 'khalwat and jalwat' before granting khilafah, isn't it?

The khilafat of azhari miya is under conditions and if the conditions are broken then so is the khilafat and I'm sure that qawwali and such will breach the conditions so the khilafat will also be broken.
