Just poped up in my mind... its a punjabi couplet but i don't know who said it: Oh jannat mein koodi weechaan jithe tun nazrin na awayn Te oh doozakh meinoo lakh bahichtaan jithe tun peya aaweyn jaaweyn That paradise is worthless to me where i don't find you And that hell is worth a thousand times wherein you come and go
:s1: Hazrat Shaykh Ibn al Farid :ra: was one of the greatest lovers of Our Beloved SAWS and his poetry is sublime especially his Qasida Khamriyya which begins, In memory of the Beloved we drank a wine; we were drunk with it before creation of the vine. --transl. by Emil Homerin
:s1: jazak Allah khayran for this! Jannat bhi gawaara hai magar qismat mein merii Madina likh day...! Paradise is acceptable aswell but write Madina in my destiny...!
asak I remember reading about one Shaykh who asked, "Will there be salah in paradise". When it was said "no", he said he'd rather not have it then!
subhanallah ! aameen and may this hope be fulfilled ! and I pray that we all be fortunate enough to see that day. was salam abu nibras
