No the majority illiterate Sunnis in 'iraq do not know that the wahabis are the enemy generally. They are beginning to know that a particular organization in the wahabis, always blamed in 'Iraq, is the enemy. The wahabis call themselves anti-shi'a, anti-sufi and specifically, vocally and strongly named themselves "ahlus sunnah" and so the illiterate tribes had accepted many of them not immediately as brothers but with caution in the past. The wahabis are present deep in huge numbers in all Sunni tribes in 'Iraq except the Kurds.
Salaam Brother Wadood, do the Sunni people know that the wahhabis are their enemy or is it still a common belief that the wahhabis are not shia so they must be Sunnis and therefore "brothers"?
However, as usual, the genocide of Sunnis in Iraq continues. Hundreds are dying every other day all over. People in crossfire. Today I saw a sunni cab driver, an innocent man killed by a bullet during fighting with wahabis in Buhriz, Diyala province because he was in the way.
The wahabis bombed the yazidis killing I think around 300, women and children and old people. They stoned to death to Yazidi Men all in revenge for the stoning of the Yazidi girl who had accepted Islam. By now, as far as I have known, bodies of dead yazidis turn up all the time in Mosul and near by areas. The Kurdish Sunnis did warn the yazidis on these consequences.
