    Adam Yahya is right.

Sharing a stage with an actual innovator is wrong not with a Sunni who has shared a stage with an innovator.

Also some of the demands of these new people posting are silly. It would become impossible for anyone to attend any gathering at all.

Mufti Shams ulHuda was being criticised on another thread. No excuses were made for him.
Asim Hussain is a Sunni but he shares a stage with innovators. Mufti Zahid and Mufti Shams share a stage with him.

Excuses are made for Mufti Zahid but on the Harrow thread none are made for Mufti Shams.

Did Mufti Zahid correct Asim? Wheres the recording? These are the kind of demands made for others.

I don't think Asam is really bothered whom he sits with Sullah Kulli or Not he just wants to build his fan base up, like it or not thats the bottom line of it all, and to be fair everyone is at it it a way to make a good living at the expenses of poor people whom's attention is turned away from the truth of it all.

But why sit with someone with such a big question mark over his head? Imam Asim may not be a sullah-kulli but he certainly has no problems sitting with dodgy people (maybe something he gets from his teacher, Pirzada Sahib) and Ulema should boycott him.

If a Mawlana Zayd sat with a deviant scholar then this is wrong and it should be highlighted by scholars and he should be asked to explain why he does so?

    A) Asim sits with Ninowy
    B) Ninowy has criticized Sahih Hadith and is a Tafdili

The questions which follow on are:
    1) a) Does Asim know that Ninowy is a shady scholar as is known to have incorrect beliefs?
    b) If he does then does he himself hold them views or does he believe it permissible to hold such views?

    2) If he doesn't know (which is very unlikely) then why isn't he being made aware?

Nowadays, many a Molvi thinks it lightly to associate with deviants. This is not the case!

According to the analogy of most on this forum (from what I've seen) if Mufti Zahid Hussain (someone who I've known since 2003) sits with Imam Asim Hussain then that puts the former at fault for sharing the stage with a, let's say... a 'sulla-kulli' or someone who sits with 'Sulla-Kullis' or the likes of AHM or Ninowy.

I say this because this is often used against other Sunni scholars on this forum and I do not think it's fair to pick and choose who we label with that brush. You either tarnish them all with the same application or drop the whole thing of 'A is condemnable and not trustworthy because he sits with or associates with B, because B sits with and associates with C- who in turn is viewed as a Sulla-Kulli'...

So what does that mean if Mufti Zahid did a talk together with Imam Asim that doesn't mean Mufti Sahib or anyone else who sits with Asim is responisble for his behaviour; it is the very modernists and comitee members who invite him and promote his 'rollay' and 'gangsters paradise' talks and give him the lift needed to become a super hero Molvi who thinks he can save Youngsters from issues facing them, infact all this has ever done is cause more fitnah because he has seen as one of the boys and not a scholar; he has caused a lot of damage.

His current facebook official page is testimony to this-he took an image on the motorway and got a a response from a fan

''Lol. That's the beauty I like about you and why I follow and listen to your talks. Your like one of the lads.''

It should be noted that not every amal qalil should be done in prayer e.g. picking your nose - and not every amal qalil is mubah some fall into the meaning of 'abath and that is makruh tahrimi

I can remember that Mufti Zahid Hussain did a talk together with Imam Asim a couple of months ago also.

Shaykh Samir is always with Faraz Rabbani, Zahir Bacchus, Zaid Shakir, and Shaykh Faisal Abd ar Razzaq / mr keller cult. That is the reason why he says he dont believe they said those things. This is a big cause for the so called neutrals to believe that " barelawis " are liars, and that Imam Ahmad RiDa was a fitnah monger.

Has Shaykh Samir made the effort to read Imam Ahmad RiDa works considering the amount of time given to him by his UK Sunni admirers, or genuinely checked deebo works like the recent one where they excommunicated Shaykh ' Alawi al Maliki from the Sunni fold

What is the evidence that Shaykh Samir acknowledged what the Deoband elders stated what they did? As far as I know he says that he don't believe they said those things.

That moving of the microphone is amal qalil and therefore permissible. Next don't say he read fatihah wrong by saying 'alayhum'.

Totally agree, will we continue to speak against these people to watch our scholars sit with them?

Seen it and heard it all before.
The only way Khalid will change is if he leaves the circles of jifry, osi efa, Haroon hanif, ninowy, deos and the sulha kulli fraternity.
    I don't see this happening.
    Too many egos.

Theres a new video of imam khalid in harrow masjid in london in which he is very vocal about hussam ul haramain, and the evils of the najdi movement, he was raising slogans of faiz e raza, and all sorts, might have changed?

that many popular sunni speakers (which you call baraylwis) don't know basic tajwid is something i won't argue against. but learning from shatri is not something i recommend.

if you are serious to learn tajwid, i usually recommend shaykh husary or to listen to abd al-basit; you can listen to a long surah like a'araf or kahf and count the madds - and almost to a fault, his madd muttasil and madd munfasil are of the same length. listen to the murattil edition or the tajwid edition; the late abd al-basit's precision is amazing.

    Allah ta'ala knows best.

If we strengthen our madrassah teaching, then we will inshaAllah.

There is a topic in the resources section about how to improve our madrasahs. Instead of moaning and groaning, make a contribution to the topic so we can all gain from it.

After all, that is why this forum has been set up.

I dont know what the commotion is about, majority of Bareillvis dont know basic tajweed rules let alone different qir'aat, they could probably learn alot from Shatri
