Jazakallah khayr for clearing that. Pirs are are not ma'soom, we all make errors in judgement - it's good to hear that he distanced himself from him and clarified on facebook.
The shaykh was unaware of who he was and later refuted him on a post on his own facebook page a while ago. If you have concerns about him then contact all the sunni ulama that associate with him (shaykh monawar ateeq who recently visited him) or maybe, if your not just a forum warrior, go to him seeing as though he is in the UK, and clarify the issues you have with him.
Why does the Shaykh associate with ikhwani-najdis like this who claim ijtihad for Qardawi الشيخ ولد الددو يعلن عن مجتهد العصر:
Just to confirm: You have heard that from Shaykh Sahib himself? Or you have accompanied Shaykh Sahib on Hajj and Umra and you have first hand seen that he has not prayed behind them?
You seem to know alot about the Shaykh so maybe you can confirm or deny that the Shaykh prays behind the najdis in saudi and permits his mureeds to do also?
You seem to have something personal against the Shaykh. The Shaykh follows the sunnah on the apparent and has sound aqeedah as far as we know Whats the problem?
That is the way 'Sufis', East and West, have programmed their people. Many of them cannot function without the cult or the leader. Some of them rely on the cult leader for their Iman. It's about time people were reprogrammed to follow Islam and not weird cults. Aqidah Tahawi, Quduri,Riyadh alSalihin, Adhkar, Arbain are sufficient to follow Islam. But cults claim they have something different and special. But the layman has not learned his basics and falls for the lure of the group and its leader. For a sense of community and belonging a Muslim does not need to belong to a cult. This is why the five daily prayers were legislated in the mosque so a person belongs to a community. Hajj is legislated amongst other things so people be a part of the greater Ummah. Cult mind set takes people to a limited group and the person be becomes enshrined in a bubble. The scholars of kalam warn against blind faith and the doubt of such a person's Iman.
Just one question If we detach the zombies from their puppet masters would they be able to survive? some would go towards sin and might even leave religion. I have heard brothers say that pir saab might not have studied but he is doing better work in guiding people then the scholars out there. For example Sufi riyaz has got big following, without him what would his maureeds do?
because unlike cults we don't brush everything under the carpet for just the labels of "sunni" "alahazrat admirer" "barelwi". sunni is what sunni does. Allah ta'ala knows best.
He does teach on a regular basis at gulhar sharif. And has studied from a young age. Many of the ulama from pakistan and uk regard him as a scholar including mufti muneeb ur rahman, mufti monawar, pir saqib, shaykh asrar to name a few
Hafiz Ibn Hajar writes after praising mawlid as a good innovation: The bad innovation is that which opposes it clearly or by its essence. It is that which finishes at prohibition sometimes and dislike at others. From the first is attribution to a group claiming alTasawwuf. Yet they oppose that which the shaykhs of alTasawwuf were upon from abstinence, piety and other famous perfections of theirs. Many of these claimants allow everything and do not prohibit the haram because of the deception of Satan upon them regarding their ugly state. They are more deserving of the name of transgression and disbelief than alTasawwuf and poverty. (See Hafiz Ibn Hajars alFath alMubin)
Where did the Shaykh graduate in Dars Nizami? Any details about his teachers in pak and shaam? Does the tareeqa have ulama in the UK?
I've not posted any video on this thread. Modern sufi innovators are the number one reason people turn to Wahabism. Our disputes with them are due to the danger they pose.
Many of the Arab personalities these pirs associate with do not seem to think visiting the west is a waste of time. They seem to be regular in their visits.
