  1. No high horse but a PhD is a universally acknowledged qualification that certainly denotes a certain type of academic intelligence.

that used to be an indication of 'erudition' in the past. in our times, academia and 'chairs' are teeming with ignormuses, charlatans and frauds. you can just pay your way out to get 'prestigious' medals.

Is PhD a sign of intelligence? Get off that high horse!

PhD for Imam? As if the current audience is made of PhD-holders or PhD students! May be an audience of tattooed, heavily-inked uber males can better appreciate a tattoo (high horse!) Imam.

if you remove the quotes, it reads: get their western education and doctorates etc. and NEVER become Islamic scholars.

I think that "youth" has now become an obsession with the youth.

Yes. I think one reason is that the heretics get their western education and doctorates etc. and THEN become "Islamic scholars". Our young ulama generally tend to go into dars e nizami from the start and forsake going to uni etc.

So that's kind of a trump card for the heretics. They'll get educated folk who are quite powerful speakers, teach them a few things, and then tout them as scholars. And because they have letters after their name or appear more academic, they gather a following even though they have no real grounding in the shariah sciences.

But it's that hadith, isn't it, about young preachers with sweet words but they'll be misguided.

  7. He appeals to Westernised youth because he gets their problems and understands their culture; Imam Asim Hussain also does but I think his worldly education level is not as high as Nakhshawani as he has a PhD and is now a holder of a prestigious chair. (I love Imam Asim but generally our young English speakers tend not to be as highly educated in terms of Western education as those of other sects and it reflects in their speeches). Dr Rajabali is another charismatic Shia speaker who is popular too but his style tends to be more academic than Nakhshawanis. This is an area in which we Sunnis are still playing catch up. The other thing is our Sunni English speakers still slip in a lot of Urdu and Punjabi and I think that would detract neutrals.

  8. He is a charismatic speaker but unfortunately his hidden hatred shows through even though he consistently speaks about 'our brothers the Ahlus Sunnah'; he slips in absurd little details (which are clearly made up) to show this. I listened to a lot of his lectures a couple of years ago ( his biography series on the lives of the 12 Imams of Ahlul Bayt and other personalities like Hazrat Abbas Alamdar and Bibi Zaynab etc are generally good as he mostly sticks to verifiable facts) but eventuality found that his embellishments are ridiculous. For example in his talk about one of the Imams he mentions Haroon al Rashid , the caliph at the time. Now we all know both the Ummayads and Abbassids (with rare exceptions) were tyrannical against the Ahlul Bayt (as they saw them as a potential threat to their power) but you don't have to add absurd things like Dr Nakshawani did by saying that Haroon played games with his wife Zubaida where the loser had to have sex with the ugliest slave in the whole palace or she had to walk around the whole Palace naked!!! Anyone knows that even the most irreligious person today in the Muslim world wouldn't do that due to what society says let alone in those days!! That's when i decided to stop listening as I realized he mixes truth with lies.

oh but he is just another monkey. I think that he and the other madman whom shaykh asrar thrashed have escaped from the same nuthouse.

How will shaykh asrar debate an imbecile? he's got more tattoos on his body than brain cells in his cranium.

actually he is a little prank - you tickle him with a few simple facts and out pops the jackass sporting his briars-eating grin accompanied by senseless braying.

the trick is quite simple - amuse, shock and disorient people - some people call it youth culture.

This nakshawani is a charismatic, powerful orator who never ceases to slander the khulufaa and great sunni ulema...he's as sly and as cunning as they come and really appeals to people who prefer style over substance....I remember him saying that every ummah has a qarun...and the qarun of this ummah is Hassan al Basri ..astaghfar...he is in dispute with his fellow raafidi Yasser al habeeb..the dispute concerns yassers outright takfeer of the first three khulufaa and Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa and Hazrat Umm I Kulthoom may Allah be pleased with them. Nakshawani is not upset about the takfeer or slanders..just that Yasser is very vocal in his calumny where as nakshwani conceals it with a view to sunni conversion.

He truly is a foul personality and needs to be refuted....and what's with all the tattoos???...he's covered in them..

This donkey has been challenged by shaykh asrar today:

I hereby challenge Dr Ammar Nakshawani to a public debate following his recent speech 'Radical Islam, Terrorist Islam, Islam of khilafa' talk in which he attacked the caliphate of Sayiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq and Sayiduna Umar radiallahu anhum and associates to them the source of terrorism.

These are lies that must be challenged in public. Do not hide away now.
